Pros +
- Nice clean hotel, about 15 minutes walk from the train station. Restaurants, cafes and food markets nearby. Good value for money.
- (Although a bit overpriced) the staff helped us to get a taxi to the airport, when we couldn't get one ourselves.Room was big, airco and tv worked fine. Price was low
- Very good
Cons -
- Sometimes difficult to find and communicate with staff.
- 1. The 'breakfast': Plain casino bread, broken/crumbled cookies in a jar that smelled very chemical, weird ice cream toppings in a tray filled with water. The 'fresh orange juice' was nót fresh and tasted like flat sugary fanta. There was nothing to put on the bread, and nothing to put the bread on like a plate. No tea, only instant coffee (you could get warm water by heating up your cup with water in an old microwave.)Staff was unattentive and on their phone. I asked if they had butter, no butter. I didn't even bother asking for a plate and ended up eating my plain toast right above the table. We were early for breakfast luckily, there were only a few slices of casino bread left when other guests came down for their breakfast. I realise we booked at a cheap hotel and I didn't expect much of the breakfast. I am used to having a simple breakfast, however, I did not expect plain bread and broken cookies. I'd rather pay extra for an actual breakfast, or pay less for no breakfast at all.2. The location and name of the hotel was unclear. We booked at Smart Boutique, but our taxi driver could not find the hotel with the provided information on booking.com We ended up calling the phone number, turned out that the location was wrong and the hotel's name as well. So instead of Smart Boutique we stayed at Supachia inn. Very confusing.3. We couldn't pay in advance using creditcard (we knew that beforehand so it was no problem) However, we also had to pay a deposit upon arrival that was not mentioned anywhere on the website when booking. Combined with the different name and location of the hotel it felt a bit dodgy. (We got our depostit back without problem at the end of our stay luckily)
