Miridiya Lake Resort

Very nice hotel, friendly staff, beautiful location, beautiful swimming pool

It didn't bother us, but there was construction going on next to the hotel.

Good very good selection

Toilet Facilities we preferred in suit bedrooms that room toilet was in outside during the night time it was very difficult to go outside it was completely outside the room open space my husband is a disable person . we manage with with difficulties

Location and parking availability and driver accomodation

Bathroom had sewerage smell, monkeys were looking into bathroom area, not hygienic to feed squirrels in dining area. Food was left for squirrels among food for guests. Also monkeys were trying to attack this food. Totally unhygienic

I liked the location, the ambience, the view, and the helpful staff.

The breakfast was mediocre.

Location

Cleanliness was below standard. Most staff are untrained.

The beds were comfy overall, the room was fantastic, and cleanliness was amazing. Pool was nice too.

Breakfast had a few less options, but that’s about it, everything else was amazing.

location & rooms were so relaxing. Meals were delicious. Staff were so kind & helpful.

During rain, the pavement in front of the room was filled with muddy water. We were unable to go to reception. We didn’t have any intercom to communicate with staff. Water bottles were not provided next day.

The staff were the only highlight of the stay.

The cleanliness and maintenance of the resort were utterly unacceptable. The bathroom was a complete disaster—it reeked of an unpleasant odor, and the broken fixtures made it almost impossible to use. The room wasn’t any better; the sticky floor was unhygienic and left us feeling uncomfortable throughout our stay. It was shocking to see such negligence in basic housekeeping and facility maintenance. These issues severely impacted the overall experience, making it one of the most disappointing stays we've ever had.

location

Unfortunately, the air conditioning in my room was not functioning properly, and despite raising a complaint, it was not resolved during my visit. Additionally, I found the quality of the food to be well below average. I ordered a cocktail from the bar, but it tasted more like water than a properly mixed drink. Moreover, the noise from construction on the hotel premises was quite disruptive. Lastly, I noticed a sign stating "Park at Your Own Risk" in the parking area, which I believe does not reflect well on a hotel.

Rooms were ok and value for money.

The breakfast on the first day was great, but by the second day, it felt like they were reserving the same breakfast to multiple customers without opening the buffet. To make matters worse, during breakfast, one of the staff member started sharing details about his personal life, which became quite annoying. He wouldn't stop talking, making it impossible for us to enjoy our meal peacefully.

Location, good staff

Bathroom was not well kept

Nice location, close to the lake, and spacious. The swimming pool is large, and the restaurant is good

The room wasn't clean, and we found also several bugs, beatles too

Nice location & friendly staff. Located at one of the best places (lake front) in Anuradhapura.

Food was not tasty & no telephone in the room.

Breakfast was ok .pool was lovely.. thank you for accommodating my late checkout request which I really appreciate.

Dinner time mosquitoes at the outdoor buffet area which my daughter didn't like and it was very hot for me while having dinner which made me feel sick ..would have been nice if you could provide more non spicy options for kids.
