- The guest house was a short walk to the beginning of the Adams Peak trail. This was a perfect location for us as this was our reason for visiting. We arrived late in the evening around 9 PM and were offered dinner which we happily accepted. It was excellent. We did the hike, came back and had lunch. This tiny guest house had better food than many pricey hotels we have stayed in Sri Lanka. The rooms are simple, but functional, and I slept like a baby. The gentleman at the front desk was incredibly accommodating with everything we needed. We are very grateful for the hospitality.

- They do not have a restaurant as such only a basement with two large tables plus dirty table linen or they would bring the food to your room. We were there only two nights and decided to try the food on the first night, we waited nearly two hours for one course! The shower curtain in the wet room, you would not want to touch unless you had gloves on. The bedroom floor had not been cleaned. There was no WiFi in the rooms, although it had been stated there was WiFi everywhere. We had asked the hotel to organise a guide for one evening and they did not show up. We had to check out earlier on our last morning and had asked the hotel if they could provide a picnic breakfast, they said yes, we arranged a time, it was paid for and it was no surprise when we left without seeing anyone. In some guide books it is claimed to be the best hotel, it certainly is not.
