Unfortunately there was a power failure for 4 hours and there by commotion

1. Not clean 2. First property where I find that we will have to ask for the towels. It was not provided. 3. Shampoo is not available at the hotel. Very very surprised. 4. Multiple time ma to be called for the phone pick up5. Not at all worth the price. It can never be rated as a 5 star hotel. Max 3 star.

The music in the restaurant was too loud and not exactly relaxing.The hotel charges for a simple thing like an iron. That is too silly.

Lovely hotel in a great location. We got a really good price for the rooms and both the breakfast and dinner we had in the hotel were very tasty.

Excellent breakfast, attentive staff. We even wrote a google review for particular staff members who went above and beyond. Overall, we would stay here again surely. Location was perfect too. Room size was on the smaller side, but it did not bother us too much.

Room size, esp. for 3 adults was very cramped. Room service was not served hot - example tea and coffee was borderline cold and went unconsumed.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious.

The water pressure was very low, as we stayed on the top floor.The shower head had very little pressure.

As always i like the restaurant in the property and spa.

Need to update property up to date to keep the cleanliness well

Property is in the middle of the city so easy to access all.

i stayed in this hotel few times before. as it goes the quality of services and cleanliness is going down as it goes.

The only thing this place has going for it is its location. Beyond that, Hycinth is a DISGRACE to the hospitality industry. If you’re expecting comfort, professionalism, or even decent service, avoid this place like the plague. A DEEPLY DISAPPOINTING experience I wouldn’t recommend to anyone!

Hycinth Trivandrum: A Five-Star Scam Masquerading as LuxuryHycinth in Trivandrum is a poor excuse for a five-star hotel, and anyone who has stayed at a real luxury property will immediately see through the façade. This place is unbranded, unprofessional, and unworthy of its claimed status. This is just a glorified budget hotel pretending to be premium.1. Disastrous Parking Facilities: Their so-called valet parking is a joke. The basement parking is nothing more than a dump yard, filled with broken furniture, old carpets, and random junk shoved under tarps. Valet staff parked my car amidst this mess, and it came back with a huge scratch on the bumper. Despite CCTV footage proving the car was scratch-free when handed over, the management outright denied responsibility and told me to “claim insurance.” I sat with the security personnel, Mr. Gireesh, and reviewed the CCTV footage from the lobby area. We both agreed that at the time of handing over the car to the valet, there were no scratches.2. Incompetent Management: The General Manager, Santosh Kumar Sinha, is a perfect example of poor leadership. When the issue with my car was reported, his first question was whether I had checked out — essentially confirming that once payment is made, the guest’s concerns are irrelevant. This level of apathy is astonishing3. Bed Deception: We booked a room for 3 adults and 1 child, only to be given a bed so small it couldn’t even fit three people, let alone a child. When I pointed this out, the reception smugly claimed it was a “king-size bed.” A 5ft-wide bed is not king-size. Either your staff has never seen one, or they assume guests are too naïve to notice. This isn’t just ignorance—it’s blatant disregard for guest comfort.4. Dirty, Neglected Corridors: The corridors leading to the rooms were lined with carpets so filthy, full of dust, and clearly hadn’t been cleaned or vacuumed in weeks.

The room allocation at the time was very poor. The staff has no quality and the efficiency level is very less. At times they don’t even pick up the phone when called from the room

It was a group booking of 10 rooms.Though they confirmed nearby rooms while booking it was allocated in a scattered manner and first the full set of room numbers were given and after some time when our families came in , they changed all the room numbers and made us wait for nearly half an hour.

The staff has absolutely no efficiency to be in a five star hotel.
