Excellent location. Excellent view. Good food. Clean rooms. Courteous and attentive staff. Overall, a very peaceful, relaxing and restful stay in the lap of nature. Great value for money.

Staff were excellent and super helpful. Sitting quietly at breakfast time was a pleasure.

I had feared that the punt crossing to the beach was going to be a problem, but it was always available and staff were helpful and happy to accommodate.

Very good small hotel in a lovely location, with helpful, friendly staff. Our room overlooked the water and was very clean and comfortable, with a balcony. The pool was clean and pool towels provided. The restaurant is on an island 50 metres away and reached by a small boat, punted by staff. Food was good, with a range of choices. There’s room service available for breakfast and dinner and there was a table and chairs in the room. Decent Wi-Fi.Ask for a room in the hotel ( there are some rooms on the restaurant island) so you won’t need to keep being punted across for the pool etc…) We used the laundry service, it was good value and clothes returned in 24 hours.

Rubbish is disposed of by burying it on the beach! The beach at the hotel isn’t really usable as a holiday beach. The local fishermen come every morning and haul in the nets by hand, and local men come for a bath.We didn’t mind this at all, watching the fishermen was interesting and they attracted big numbers of birds, which was great, but if you want to sunbathe, Kovalam beach is a 10 minute Tuktuk ride away.

Lovely relaxing location, and the boat trip to our accommodation and the restaurant was novelSuper friendly staff, nice room and good restaurant It’s a short way from the main beaches but easy to get transport to there, or take an hour walk along the seafront which is quite interesting. It’s nice and quiet as a result Pool is lovely too, perfect temperature

Lovely view from our room. Good seafood. Friendly, helpful service. Great massage. Interesting to watch the fishermen pull in their catch in the shore nets. The peaceful boat crossing for meals ...across the backwater... we only ever had to wait a few minutes.. very relaxing

The beach is apparently not safe for swimming, and no super easy to get to from the main part of the hotel is the boatmen are not available...though mostly they are available at very short notice.

Amazing shanti place , a lot of birds , luxurious nature , good food , very very friendly service, super nice people . The spa and the therapies also very good !!!Best place after 4 weeks in India, we’ll come back

I loved the resort for its location and the stunning views from the room. It's a bit removed from the busy Kovalam Beach, making it a peaceful retreat away from the crowds. The restaurant offers tasty food, and the Ayurvedic massage is a wonderful addition to the experience. My kids loved the swimming pool at this resort

I went with my parents, who are over 60, and unfortunately, the lack of a lift was a bit disappointing. Our rooms were on the second floor, which made it somewhat inconvenient for them.

I really liked the service of the two boys pramod and the boy from Nagaland.They were really helpful and kind hearted.I wish them the best in their lives and surely with such good manners they will succeed.Also,the food was really good the rooms were clean and great value for money.The best part was the view from our room and also loved the little boat ride.Had the best time in your resort,it was the best stay of our trip.Will surely be there again whenever I am in Kerala .

The only thing good about this property is a good location.

See, i took to stay in this property on the 26th late evening with 2 of my friends. I checked in after 6.30 pm. Nowhere it said in my booking that visitors are not allowed to meet me. We were a group of 3 and i am coming from abroad after a long time. I requested if a visitor can meet me at my room for an hour and i also told the staff that he/she will not be staying at the location for long. I also told them that though i booked room for 3, we will not be staying there for the night and its just for a matter of few hours. The staff didnt allow the same and for 1 visitor, he asked me to book a new room for 4000 and he made me pay for it. This is not at all acceptable when i was not instructed in my booking not to see visitors at the place. Very inhumane to act like this and to pay 4000 for 1 person to visit. The total cost which i lost was around 9000 and i am not sure why booking.com is here in between when we cannot speak to you guys for any amendments or requests. Additionally regarding the facilities, we asked if we can use the restaurant for a toast with my visitors, which they told drinks are not permitted, while again i was not instructed anywhere on the same. Its a shame on booking.com to provide such a service. I am sorry i had to say this because i was forced to walk out of the stay midnight for a place to meet my visitor clearly when i spent more than 5000 for my stay.

Loved the boat across the lake to access the restaurant. The waiter was fantastic. The view from our room was fantastic, sitting out on the balcony was so relaxing.

Staff was courteous and helpful , liked the small library in lobby area

The beach is not actually connected to the hotel and beach side (view from room) is quite filthy..lots of crows and scavengers roam on the beach side as its very dirty..beach pics posted by resort are deceptive Food was average and not upto mark

The property was in a beautiful setting and crossing the lake for breakfast was simply adorable!

There was a lot of music coming over loudspeakers that spoilt the tranquility of the place. Especially early morning.

The litter that floats on the water early in the morning..spoils the beauty

The location was sweet, staff were marvellous and the food excellent.

The nearby beach is pretty difficult to reach, and the litter on it puts one off making the effort. Shame really because otherwise this is a lovely hotel in a love,y location.
