Tippys Beach Resort

Property is located bit interior, no vehicle access. Should walk through narrow path about 300 mtr. Beach as well located around 300 mtr away. Not really a beach resort.

Just 50 meters to beach…

There is no lighting at night to arrive at the property. From beach it’s a 50 meters walk inside which is pitch dark. No hot water facility in the morning to take bath. No geyser as they say because of ocean salt water geyser gets corroded. Be ready to take cold water bath… no water bottle provided in a daily basis…just 1 water bottle for 2 adults for the 1st day.. if you are staying 3 days remaining days no water bottle…in balcony each other I meant neighbor is very close to you and all balconies are next to next with no privacy

Good bed, sheets and shower. The staff was very nice.

The only thing is that the window doesn’t have mosquito net. So i had to keep the window close and usa the AC. But i prefer to be able to open the window without being concerned about mosquitos.

The hotel is very close to the beach. I stayed in the room with Seaview balcony which was superb. The rocking chair put a cherry on the cake. The rooms were clean enough. Mr Nazar is the allrounder there and is really helpful.

The few drawbacks are -1. The place is difficult to locate using map. One should ask the hotel attendant to come to the lighthouse gate which is located 100 meters away from the hotel. 2. There is no lift. ( My room was at 3rd floor)3. All rooms are not sea-facing.

Cleanliness and location, near beach

No breakfast

Not on the beach front but near the beach.Staff is supportive of all queries, they arranged a cab for pickup from the airport, clean bathrooms.

A hairdryer in the room would have helped.Parking is away but all beach front hotels will have this issue.

One of the worst hotels, and very poor service. really disappointing. Please do not suggest this hotel to any other guests.

Staff was not helpful at all, you dont even get water and if you need one you will have to walk down all the way. I stayed for 2 days noone turned up to clean the room, no fresh towels provided.

Great helpful staff, very clean with comfortable beds and great air conditioning and Wi-Fi , great view if you’re on second or third floor. Kettle and tea coffe in room, we also had a fridge.

Noise from yoga chanting at 0700, in fairness we moved rooms so the problem went away. So many steps to get a great view . No Tv in rooms though advertised as having.

Close to the beach… transport can’t get right to the door, but the staff came and collected us and our cases. It’s a guest house so expectations need to be reasonable, but it’s well worth the price charged, given the location and A/C rooms.

The shower functioned fine, but could be tidied up so it is more presentable.

Very clean hotel & friendly, helpful staff

I had a room at the rear of the building with a view of a building site. Rooms at the front are fab.

The hotel is located in 2 minutes walk from the beach, the rooms are neat and have modern powerful ACs. You can also visit yoga classes on the roof of the building, from which opens a beautiful view on the lighthouse and sea. While located not directly on the beach, the hotel enjoys relative calm and quite surroundings. Plus it’s a couple of minutes walk from the hotel to a taxi pickup point

There‘s no restaurant at the hotel, so one has to go somewhere else to have a breakfast, but there are plenty of cafes in the area

Only that this so called hotel com resort which is no better than a delipadated Sarai is near the beautiful Kovlam Beach

No TV, No epbx, no lift, no chairs the room has just a double bed with delapidated toilet. The view from window blocked by concrete structure within touching distance from the balcony. The property is attended to by only one person who does not provide any thing not even drinking water. You will have to fetch your own water.

Hotel staff behaviour was good and they were very helpful. Room was clean and comfortable with nice sea view.

There is no elevator so some may have problem.
