Service can be better

The location is amazing . Views of the backwaters from the reception area as well as restaurant. Lots of activities. Free sunset cruise. Best part was the very friendly and extremely helpful staff. They have the golf cart for transportation within the property.

We had the rooms that were facing the manmade water area . Lots of mosquitoes. They should have a wire mesh door and windows for the rooms and a mosquito net for sleeping . Also the rooms feel a bit dated.

The staff are fantastic and go out of their way to help.

The cleanliness of the place needs work - the water in the lake is different shades of green (and not in a good way); the changing room for the swimming pool is not well maintained. The restaurant menu have limited vegetarian options, and even more so, for local food.

Special mention -Ayman and Pranav is best host as they helped us in booking of train ticket and their hospitality is very good...food is very good and stay was comfortable

Comfortable stay

Aesthetic spot and top notch facilities. The staff were incredibly courteous, warm, and attentive to every detail. The food was another highlight — a perfect balance of authentic Kerala flavors and variety. The spread was fresh, well-curated, and delicious across all meals. We especially appreciated the care taken in presentation and taste.

We booked the room and it was confirmed but because of money they gave the room to someone else we have planned a lot but it's all failed because of this that too we had our check in on afternoon but they told us only on the morning and everything has spoiled

Great setting with beautiful gardens and well kept grounds. Good restaurant on site with great staff, special mention to Asif who looked after our group of 9. The location is remote, if you like remote so you end up staying here for lunch/dinner.

The bed mattress was very soft and caused me back problems. I reported to reception but nothing got done until I raised with the manager then they made the bed more comfortable.Rooms are old and new, old ones are more characterful but facilities are basic. The shower drainage didn't work so I had to stand in the water to have a shower. Cleanliness was not great, our balcony didn't get cleaned at all during my stay. The bedding was worn out.

Everything was worst totally unexpected 0 value but they charge much as their service is nothing bad food bad meals bad room’s I’ll not suggest this proprty to any 1

The position, the view from our room.

No working internet. Our view was ruined by the hotel allowing several 2 storey House boats to tie up immediately outside our room. This meant that we no longer had the view of the lake. We had paid for a luxury room with a lake view. This was rectified with a change of room. It rather spoilt our stay and shouldn’t have happened in the first place.

The breakfast menu had a decent number of options, though nothing stood out as being particularly good. The location is amazing.

The lunch and dinner menus, especially for vegetarians, were not that good. Also, the management acted in a miserly way when it comes to providing living essentials like toiletries, water, etc. Keeping in mind the cost of the stay, this was an unpleasant surprise.

Some of the staffs were very nice especially those at the main restaurant and the spa. The food was nice and diversified. The location is a great place, especially for honeymooners. The lake view is exceptional.

Our telephone, a/c were not working, i needed to walk to the reception to ask for help, they dispatched someone to repair the phone 40 mins later, and the phone stopped working the next day. The towels were not replaced daily, i had again to go to the reception to ask for towels and toiletries stuffs.

Disappointing

Balcony was not clean at all. Stains everywhere. Toilet mirror had full of toothpaste stains. Cleaners didn't get training at all to clean the bathroom. Security concerns as ununiformed maintenance workers everywhere.

The outdoor is excellent. Food is nice and delicious.

The rooms are dated and not clean. The bathroom was dirty and it had mould . Taps were all junk and looked disgusting.
