M ROOF HOTEL & RESIDENCES

Upon check-in the receptionist had a good sense to notice my friend and I booked a room with semi transparent windows and inquired if we were ok with it before offering to change room at a fee. Should the hotel offer rooms with no bathroom doors or windows that are semi transparent or cannot entire close, please indicate clearly on the booking page and attach very clear pictures of how the bathroom looks like with such special features. As a traveller, I have encountered booking sites whereby the pictures attached we the same for all their rooms hence why this special bathroom layout needs to be clearly featured on the booking sites.

Cleanliness and staff are very polite.

Location abit far from town

New, clean & near the amenities

Good location and good facilities

Make cleaning for a bathroom and leaking water at floor in room.

View from the room (we got 9th floor), gym and pool, and the self service laundry

TV options; Netflix would have been wonderful!

Staff were not well informed about the parking arrangements for hotel guests especially when there is a event held during our stay. We worried that there would be no parking for us when we returned to the hotel at night so we went back earlier just to secure a parking space. The mini bar in the room is not functioning well. Breakfast is simple, not worth the price.

Location was s good. Maintenance upkeep could be better

Upholstery old and needed cleaningBuffet breakfast limited and scrambled eggs undercooked and unappetizing

Good location.Clean and spacious room

room was good...breakfast was not that goodcleaniness was ok

parking was so bad

Breakfast was one of the worst I've ever had for a hotel. Porridge so diluted. Sambar was off almost spoilt.

No room service.

Room is large and bed is comfortable. Staff are professional and good location.

It’s getting a bit run down. Floor tiles are loose and the towel racks have rust on them

This hotel offers a cozy and clean room with a welcoming atmosphere. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, making check-in smooth. Parking was easy, and the central location was perfect for exploring the area. A great choice for a hassle-free stay!

Very good

Breakfast at coffeehouse - music was too loud. Should play soft music. Air-conditioning was cold. Breakfast spread does not meet a 4 star hotel standard.

Nice room, staff is polite

The pungent old flower smell at the lobby.

Stayed a night at this hotel during the first weekend of March 2025 with my mother recently. We loved staying at this hotel as it was very near to where we once lived in Ipoh and also very centrally located to accessing the North South Highway and also Ipoh city and surrounding suburbs near the hotel. Staff were courteous and friendly during check in and check out and rooms were well kept and tidy.

Very poor. The hotel has good points but is not properly run.

The lift didn’t work, the breakfast was very poor, I was locked in the fire escape etc.

Especially parking space. It's too limited and insecure. I would prefer basement parking which is safe and guarded.

Upon arrival, I noticed that the room was a bit dusty, with noticeable dust on floor n furniture for studio apartments.. This made the room feel unclean and uncomfortable, and I was disappointed that the room was not properly cleaned before my arrival…

Very nice hotel...spacious clean n comfortable. Nice view

The place is clean and located near to the town: ) actually not our 1st time here. The property was much cleaner compared to last time we stay. The staff was friendly and very helpful.

The fabric of the sofa was not comfortable. And no breakfast provided due Ramadan month.
