Toilet was clean, tiles selection was decent and nice.bed was comfortable.

I did not like the walkway alley to the rooms. Very dark and creepy.

This hotel is located within walking distance to a.variety of food stalls, banks, pharmacy, etc.

Room aircon during day is not cold enough. Almost no aircon at corridors. Curtain in toilet blocking the toilet door. Toilet curtain does not protect privacy enough - good gap and semi transparent.

The water heater is not hot, there is no laundry plastic provided, the corridor is very stuffy with no air conditioning and there is only one 3 pin plug socket in the room. We would appreciate it if there is 3 pin plug socket available on both of the bedside tables.

There's only one plug point and it's far from the bed. Only have a rain shower. Had small cockroaches. The aircond wasn't cold enough. Only one card is given. No room service.

We have stayed here several times on route from KL to Penang, it is perfect for us. The hotel facilities are basic but that is what we want. There are food courts near by, the rooms are excellent and the staff are friendly. Car parking is available. We will be back!

Room is small.Deluxe room - more like a smaller standard room.. barely got space to walk. The word “Deluxe “ is wrongly applied. I asked for a bigger room.Paid Rm60 extra … given a room called Grand Deluxe room. The room size is equivalent and in fact smaller than a normal standard room of other hotels. There is no cupboard in the GRAND DELUXE ROOM ( R 306) to hang my clothes. It is more like a smaller adjoining room to another room ( there is an internal latched door to another room). I am doubtful why such a room in R306 is considered the highest grade room of the hotel and called GRAND DELUXE when it is an adjoining room to another room !!!The word Deluxe in the advertisement is misleading. I have spent 35 years travelling around the world for work and is familiar what is the expectation of a Deluxe room and a Standard room.Because of the size of the rooms, De Hotel is essentially a small boutique hotel, and should advertise as such. Expectations of Boutique Hotel would have much smaller rooms than the “normally” advertised hotels. There is a feeling being misled by the use of “ Deluxe” when I first booked online and by “Grand Deluxe” when I paid extra for the socalled Grand Deluxe. It is a misleading representation and gives false expectations when booking online.BTW, D Eastern Hotel standard room is so much bigger than De Hotel’s advertised “ Deluxe” room and even bigger than De Hotel’s Grand Deluxe room.

Near restaurants

The room was not cool enough during the day especially when you are lying in the bed. Even when you set the aircond at the lowest temperature. You will only feel it late at night.The pillows are uncomfortable.Light in the shower not working.

The room was clean and adequate for my purposes. Bathroom facilities quite good and the bed was comfortable and spacious. The staff including Manjula, Foo Mee, Reuben and Azrul, were courteous, helpful and friendly.

There was a rail with hangars but no wardrobe. Also no safe.The shower was a square overhead fixed fitting, so there was no flexibility.As for TV, apart from BBC 24-hour World News, the other 3 English language channels were not much good. No movie channel.

The check in time too strict whereby I have requested to check in 1 and half hour earlier but was rejected.

Location. We upgraded to have city view and executive room.

Need update some cosmetic, many things in the room fall apart and dated. Furniture stained. Pillows was old uncomfortable both rooms. Tiles falling and shower head not factuality

Cleanliness was excellent.

I selected to pay cash on arrival ..but my card was already devoted when I had arrived. Being that I normally need to authorise with a code to make payment..which I had not done.

Run down.2nd floor AC was off. The whole alley was hot and stuffy.Not allow 2 card keys.
