CJ House Station 18 - Ipoh

The password system, that's all.

No towel. No water heater in the room. No shampoo. Too many doors, it may harden some guests with that. If you are carrying a lot of stuff, there is the problem to lift the door open. The parking lot is also not comfortable. The aircond cannot adjust the temperature, too cold. I have to change to another mode to reduce the cold. However, it still is a good stay.

Overall room was clean and spacious. Shower was warm (except no warm water for bath tub). While location is a bit off from the city, there is plenty of parking. Easy check in and out. Comfortable beds and clean towels.

Tap for shower was too tight and operated only via a tiny lever that was meant to control the inlet, rather than a proper handle. Bidet head was missing. There was no hot water for the bath tub. We arrived with a missing mat for the floor but it was quickly resolved by the staff. Security can be improved in the area as it is secluded.

TV cannot on & fan too slow . Plus please change the iron with better brand so that my clothes and scarves dont get defect

Room is cheap but equipped with bathtub. Size is decent and fairly good for budget hotel. Check in and check out process is great as they were using password-protected doors.

Location is quite remote.

I like the interior design of the room.

The air conditioner was not in good condition, I sleep with hot temperatures because air conditioner cannot used. the image from online was not same as reality.

THEY ARE UNDER RENOVATION AND THE LOBBY IS MESSY NOT LIKE THE PICTURE SHOWN. THE PICTURE SHOW VERY VINTAGE BUT WHEN IM THEY THE LOBBY IS LOOK SO LOUSY AND TERRIBLE . SO AT THAT MOMENT I THINKING TO CHANGE PALCE. LUCKY THE ROOM IS STILL CLEAN . THE FAN IS NOT FUNCTION. AIRCOND FUNCTION IS GOOD . THE PLACE LOOK LIKE NOT SAFE AND THE WORKER IS NOT ALWAYS STANDBY AT THE LOBBY .

Room wasnt ready for check in at 2pm. Last minute cleaning. Smelly towel and not clean enough. Not welcoming staff. Poor sound proof which i can hear people walk pass, open and close door.

the room was comfortable and clean. The price also very affordable for a nice and cozy room. the place a bit far from city and quiet which is good if you come here to relax and relieve yourself. the receptionist also helps alot. will repeat again here.

If you don't want to have nightmares, don't stay at CJ House Station!!!The receptionist was extremely rude. We have to wait for the receptionist outside the premises as the premises are locked. When we called her, she rejected our call and informed will call back. But she did not call at all. Finally she's arrived and without say sorry to the guest she entered the premise.There's some problem with the payment but payment has been paid on the spot. Then she asked us to wait because the room need to be sanitise. We are so disappointed because the room supposed to be ready at 3pm but unfortunately it is not and we are quite tired because we started our journey at 5am that day. The day before, we already informed our arrival was estimate at 2pm to 3pm. While waiting, the receptionist have eavesdropped our conversation and because she didn't like our conversation & criticism the way she served, she suddenly suggested to us to cancel the room reservation even though the payment had been made and we had been waiting for 30 minutes already. There's were some arguments happened but managed to cool down by one of our friend.After completing the registration, without explaining in details how the hotel works and gave some password and picture through WhatsApp, we are allowed to enter the room. A problem occurs when the electricity needs to be turned on using the mykad/driving licence and only accepting the one who made the registration. We have tried several times, but the electricity supply was cut off several times a moment it is start to work, forcing us to file a complaint. Finally the problem was solved by using the hotel's key card which, if it was given to us in advance it would not trouble some us.The hotel interior and lobby doesn't look like what we have seen in the Booking apps at all. We are not allowed to entered into the lobby with a reason it was self service check in hotel.

For this price range, the room condition is higher than my expectation. Toilet and bathtub was clean, but not for the floor. The floor was dusty and you can feel there's lot of sand when walking in the room.

Staff was not helpful at all. I was expecting to make my payment at the counter but ended up with no one entertained me by leaving me standing alone in front of the counter. Yes, they are just watching me standing there without approaching me. I then contact the person in charge through my inbox, making payment online then only checked in my room. There's a bathtub in the room so I was expecting to enjoy it with a bathbomb. I asked the person in charge where can I get a bathbomb in Ipoh but ended up ignoring me by just seen my message on WhatsApp. If you do not know you can just let me know then without ignoring me waiting for a reply. The last day checking out my room, I informed the person incharge that I checked out as she asked me to do so. Same thing, she seen my mesaage informing me checking out. I was figure out to get a simple reply like Thank you, or asking if i enjoyed the stay. Not even a reply.
