My stay at Bukit Merah Laketown Resort offered the perfect blend of relaxation and healing, with clean rooms, beautiful natural surroundings, and great family entertainment like the waterpark, animal paradise, cafes, and cycling.room furniture is out-trend but well maintain

The lake is close and big, the water park is cheap, the whole area is big.

The aircond is very noisy from the 1990s. At first, I didn't get connecting rooms, but after begging, I got those.

Bukit merah lakeside resort was a very simple hotel. The rooms are fairly spacious but need a bit of decoration as they are very shabby.The position is great , near both a fun water park for the children and also the orangutan island where we were able to see orangutans being rehabilitated ready to release back into the wild.

The hotel could have been cleaner and the rooms needed updating. Eg. The aircon was either on or off! Also the small swimming pool onsite closed at 6pm. It would have been good to allow the children in the pool for a little bit longer once the sun was not so hot.

Room condition are worse than 2 stars. Asking me to pay extra for towel. Low budget breakfast.

The bed is comfortable but your service is very bad.. before checking out we have to wait for your housekeeping to check the room first. If we as customers check out and change the position of the bed, we have to go back to the hotel to move the bed again. While I was checking in at this hotel, which is the first time the hotel has asked a customer to do that.. so what are your staff doing as housekeeping? If the bed cannot be moved, inform the customer before checking in.! To attract customers to come back to the hotel, your service has to be good.. I hope you can consider it and improve your service in the future..

The water heater and no iron in the room.

Great varieties of breakfast prepared. The room is very clean. There is hot water for shower and sink.

I can't set the aircond properly because the remote doesn't sync with the aircond since they replaced the original remote with universal remote. I can't set the exact temperature needed for my hot water shower and sink. I had to gauge it manually.

The air-conditioner is full blast all the time. It is either off or full blast.

The kafe is far from the hotel.

location: the hotel room and restaurant was to far, not convenient for my old mother. We have to drive a few times for dinner and breakfast.

The room was very reasonable and could have slept 3 people. We booked last minute and there was plenty of availability. The staff were polite and helpful at reception and the breakfast was good value and included in the price. As the property was on a holiday resort area and out of season, it was very quiet. The air conditioning worked well and there was plenty of parking. It was a great location to be able to visit the Orangutan Island and if you wished the water park. It was very easy to reach from the highway. ,

One of the rooms smelt of smoke, but we were given a different room on request. The whole venue was very quiet and out of season, it could have done with a bit of doing up and some refurbishment.

Except the food, everything was exceptional to me. The room size are enough for both of us n 2 babies. No harzards for kids. The staffs are very friendly, the service are on point, not too much but just enough to know that we are welcomed. Definitely will come again and worth the money.

The food are meh to me. Large portion of food but too bland, not crispy enough, not spicy even i ordered spicy wedges. Even my 1 and half year boy can eat it. Not too many choices of food. Luckily the vendors are there. The petting zoo are too quiet with only 1 staff at the goat shed, understandable the price only rm10.

The place has seen much improvement from the last time we visited. The chalets are very clean, the staff are professional, helpful and courteous.

The lake sadly had very low water level because of the drought, though this did give a different type of beauty to the landscape with mud skippers and storks aplenty.

I love the room, so spacious and clean and with a bathtub. breakfast was great too. varieties and delicious. the water park is nice but should add more games and slides. lot of parking too. even have a laundry shop and mart. I recommend people to come to water park on friday

carrying the tube around is tiring. several slides are quite strict and we could not play some slides as we just knew that zips are not allowed. example, the zips on my chest are also not okay

The room facilities was excellent, much comfortable and convenience to us. Then, the breakfast meals they provided was okay. Thus, the staffs were very friendly and polite served us. The swimming pools facility was okay, my children were enjoyed it.

Nice view and very recommended to stay here.. From receptionist to all staff very friendly and helpful.Will repeat again next time

Breakfast have variety of foods. Local and western. the temperature at that place is cool and fresh air in the morning.
