Staff is wonderful. Breakfast delicious. Big comfortable rooms with little fridge. Great view of the city from the restaurant.

Pretty far from the airport. Inbound taxi driver didn’t take toll roads in the evening and the ride took 90 minutes.

Nice breakfast. pool, gym & restaurant. Friendly staff. Clean room. The view from the restaurant is lovely.

Location is average. You can walk to the big mosque from there.

I stayed at the junior suite, it was dissaponting ! The room feel old, the toilet seat was shaky, the rain shower didt work ! I think the kimono both are shrunk ! It was the size of small kids ! The towels are not white anymore, the sofa are full of stain every where. The pillow were flat ! All the staff need more training on how to do hospitality, especially Wanda that works at the lounge on 18th floor ! And more of them ...This was my 2nd time staying at Melia, it was already dissapointing on my first time with same complaints, but I thought I gave Melia a second chance after few years, thought it would be better service, but Noooo it was worst experienced than my first time ! That would be my last time staying at The Melia Makassar ! Bad ! Bad ! Bad !

I was extremely satisfied with my stay at Melia Makassar. The staff and service were outstanding. Whenever I had a question or request, they responded immediately and with great kindness. The location is convenient and central, making it easy to get around. Breakfast was also very good, diverse, and with plenty of options. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend the hotel.

Small and noisy indoor swimming pool.

The staff is courteous and helpful. The room is clean, and the bed is comfortable. Only the swimming pool is kinda small, and the gym facilitie needs more updates..

This is an older hotel that needs to be updated. Trim is falling, beds and bedding are old, tile cracked, etc.

Great value, service, staff and breakfast!

I've stayed there for ten days. The room met all western standards. The staff from the front desk to the man cleaning my room and the staff at the restaurant. The pool is fresh and nice, there is a sauna. The breakfast has an amazing choice. Croissants and many Indonesian dishes...Highly recommended. Close to shopping malls. Easy to find a cab. Great view from the room.

The view from my room was spectacular. I was able to catch the sunset while I was at their gym and it was breathtaking. Nice rooftop area for chilling alone, with friends, or with family. And the surrounding area is pretty lively. Good location!

Couldn’t think of any, really. But their body wash and shampoo bottles could definitely be bigger.

Wished that smart TV, better variety breakfast menu, & fast lift access would be provided.

The outstanding cleaning of the room by room boy Yusnil made that I had not one allergic reaction and we feel so grateful for the excellence delivered. It makes a huge difference to us.

The hotel was very clean and friendly.The pool was fabulous, as was the close proximity to the city.

Very nice hotel with lovely and friendly staff. Comfortable room with a nice view over the city!Amazing breakfast but you need to pay for this as well.

Airco was not properly working so the room was very warm. It is because of the system they have with a built in airco.
