The pillows were great. All necessary details for access, wifi were clear and easy to follow. It’s a tired older property but was very comfortable and clean. It had all I needed to make breakfast and dinner but was very close to town amenities anyway. Staff were friendly.

It looks like some rooms have been gutted to be rebuilt perhaps. They’re a bit of an eye-sore and the pool area was not inviting at all. There was no construction going on the 3 days I was there so no issue with noise. My room was underneath the family rooms so you could hear the footsteps of those above. It wasn’t overly noisy but could be if children were playing.

Location convenient to family who live locally

Step into bathroom although only millimetres high is a significant trip hazard

There were a lot of little ants in the room this time … I stay there often as I live in Mackay. Also the curtain let in a lot of sunlight.

Everything. Rooms was nicely renovated. Pool was so nice to swim in. Staff were so lovely

Bugs hah being the tropics we expected it. Just bring some bug spray haha

Very clean and tidy rooms.The bathroom was exceptionally clean as was the bedroom.I didn't arrive until 115am and the instructions to get in to my room were clear and worked flawlessly.I was very happy to find that the aircon worked really well also.

The pool. Fancy, key pad door locks no contact check in. Rooms are nice

Old unfinished construction. Must be from a cyclone years ago. On site. Just needs updating and finished. Super hard bed. And thin pillows

Interior fixtures and fittings are all new.

Access through Museum next door-very little signage-no staff in attendance- park anywhere when you find a note on the unstaffed office window to let you know. Property still under renovation- safety risks everywhere ie. air con. overhanging stairs, fire exit door doesn't open. Inside there was an ant nest in the lid of the jug; crockery etc stored on top of hotplates as cupboard locked. Toaster, iron and jug stored on kitchen shelf too high to reach if you're a short person. Bathroom had 1 towel hook and no shelving for anything else. Air con. controls hard to navigate. Bad TV reception.

Obviously the motel was under a refurbishment with unfinished work, so appearances were deceptive

The keyless entry to the room was great. We arrived after office hours and were sent a code to access our room. Room was clean and comfortable enough.

The motel/grounds look like a building site. Clearly renovations and repairs have stopped. Room had a microwave but nothing to eat off or with.

Had a really good sleep due to the very firm beds. The shower pressure was good. It very much served its purpose as we needed somewhere close to the hospital and it was booked very last minute.

Check process was annoying. The after hours person appeared to be annoyed that a call was made to assist with check in as the arrival instructions when to my sister who was in hospital- it was an emergent situation so a little empathy or patience would have been very appreciated.

Rooms were reasonably comfortable.Easy check in.

The place was fairly rundown and needs some TLC.We can only assume the disrepair to part of the motel is due to recent storm damage.Hopefully will be reinstated and upgraded in due course.

Convenient location. Streamlined booking process. Plenty of parking.

The motel suffered storm damage some time ago and is still to be repaired.

The room was booked with not knowing how long the stay would be, as circumstances were fluid at the time. Access to Hospital.

Seriously over priced, old, run down and not repaired after the cyclone. Didn’t even have a second blanket.

Blankets old. Noisy from road out front. Old shower. No breakfast cereals etc.

Obviously this property has been impacted by recent a cyclone. The room we stayed in (Room 33) was clean, new and modern.

It was sad to see the impact on the property by recent cyclonic events. However, the confusing messages sent to my mobile were difficult to comprehend.

We didn't have breakfast. The location has always been good. I am a former Proserpine resident. I am quite sad for the business that there are buildings that were damaged from Cyclone Debbie, but I think you have done very well in how the business has kept afloat despite this. I certainly wish for good things for the Proserpine Motor Lodge now and in the future.

For me, the beds were a little harder than I am used to, but everything else was good.
