Winton Outback Motel

It was quite, it had nice shade for our truck, which also kept the room cool, and although it wasn’t a picture out look, it was peaceful and quiet

Great location. Rooms were clean and tidy. Bed and pillows were comfortable.

Location was great. Easy to find. Our unit was tidy, had everything we needed for our one night stopover while on the road home. Check in and out was easy also. My granddaughter loved seeing the Brolga being fed out the front of our unit.

We were there for less than 16 hrs, so nothing comes to mind.

The room was well laid out for 4 people and the air-conditioner worked very well. Parking was convenient and accessible.

Go to say the bore water smell leaves a bit to be desired but was not intrusive in the main room - just the shower. Not really a worry.

Very friendly and helpful staff. We were willingly given immediate early access to our room on arrival and allowed very late check-out to coincide with Greyhound bus arrival and departure times, which added to the enjoyment and comfort of our stay. Our room was spacious and comfortable and well-supplied with tea, coffee, milk, biscuits and toiletries. There are no restaurant facilities on site, but there are two excellent early opening cafes close by - Coffee Cube and Lost Poet - for breakfast, and you couldn't do better than Tatt's Hotel, 100m away, for a great atmosphere and super meals throughout the rest of the day

Within walking distance to restaurants/ shops The motel owner had switched on the Airconditioning prior to our arrival which was very thoughtful when the outside temperature was nearing 40 degrees. Very comfy bed.

Floors creaky so could hear whenever someone walked around during the night in adjoining room.

A very nice, tidy room. Excellent staff were helpful and friendly. I especially enjoyed the brolgas who visit each morning.

The walls are a bit thin and we could hear TV and conversation next door but everyone was civilized and we heard nothing after 10pm.

Comfortable room. Helpful managers.Washing machine and clothes line.

The smell of the artesian water. That's just the Outback. No one's fault. I would of got used to it if I was staying longer.

The room was just as you see it online. Very clean and quality towels and linen. This was by far the cleanest hotel we stayed in on our 3 week road trip.

Location on main street within easy walking distance of post office , the Matilda Centre, the Gregory Hotel and other attractions. We were able to enjoy internetAnd book further expeditions from the Outback motel. And we watched a pair of Brolgas dance on the front lawn.

The weather really was very hot.

Good size room with easy parking, cold aircon.

Not the hotels fault but the smell of the water is soo bad and there is no cold water option.

OMG, this place is next level amazing!!! They were so lovely!!! Accommodation was perfect! Beds were better than we've ever slept in! You HAVE to stay here if you stay in Winton! They have local knowledge, comfort, and experience! They have the whole package! We booked for the wrong night but thankfully they allowed us to stay! 100% stay with this hotel!!!!! We will be back 110%!!!
