Hotel not.operating. no staff.good advice for meal overnite and tired early start. Room smaller than normal. Take all your own water

Disappointing

Toilet was not clean. The room air freshener/scent was a urinal freshener. Pub was not open for meals or beer. Bed was comfortable and air was cold.

About what you'd expect for the cheapest motel

Bathroom stinked of sewage, door lock was broken (screen door did lock), bed was very itchy, mosquito larvae in the toilet

It is advertised as a Hotel. What is at said is that the hotel and meals don’t open until Thursdays. This isn’t very helpful when you are a tradie wanting a feed and a beer early in the week. We ended up going elsewhere and requesting a refund.

It was relatively clean

There didn't seem to be any staff about, The restaurant was closed

No breakfast had

Fix the door/handle, literally bandaid filling the holes. Could not stop itching like possible bed bugs, cockroaches running around on the floor, floor conditions poor and cut my foot. Next night I stayed in Townsville for $140 and was like the Hilton in comparison to $110 for your stay. Your very lucky options are limited in your town

Comfy bed, big TV and great shower. Access to pub food and refreshments on site was a bonus.

Property was great but Google maps were so wrong. If it wasn’t for a staff member who saw me searching across a paddock, I may not have found the property without a phone call.

we liked the rodeo, and parts of the town that was operational,

the hotel motel was a big let down ,on the add it showed hotel motel ,restaurant, but when we got there the hotel is shut for months to come ,the person there was polite tried to charge me again had to find my text to prove we had paid finally we got a room ,well small double ,microwave, toaster n jug ,no coffee, tea in cane dish n 2sugar it did not look fresh 2 cups 1teaspoon and a fork ,water smelt like rotten egg gas ,splashes on back of toilet door ?????,toilet seat broken or not installed properly, kicked my toe as I walked up to check the bed when I looked it's sitting on bricks ,had I not paid in advance I would of walked away ,utterly disappointed

Friendliness of the staff and other customers.

Rooms were a bit small and lots of flies. Needed personal inspect repellant in our rooms.

Unfortunately the bar and restaurant were not open. But otherwise good place to stay. Have stayed there before

It has all the basic amenities required for an overnight stay. The shower was hot, with great water pressure.

Very small, but acceptable for the price. No reading lights over the bed, and bathroom light switch was at the front door.Bed was saggy and we both ended up with sore backs.We could accept these negatives for the cheap cost, but the noise was unacceptable. There is no soundproofing, we could hear our neighbours go to the toilet! The motel is attached to a pub and we lucked out, with loud music being played into the small hours. We were warned that there would be music untill 11:30 pm, but it was still going at 1:30 am, albeit at a lower volume. Coupled with the sound of drunken patrons hanging out outside, and the roar of cars coming and going, we managed about 4 hours sleep tops.If you want a cheap overnighter, it may meet your needs. But if you want to actually sleep, maybe check if there's anything on in the hotel before booking.

We weren't expecting much for our last minute booking but the room was clean, the shower was great and the bed was comfortable. We were very happy with our stay.

The bed was very comfortable.

It was really smelly, the bath mat still had wet foot prints from the previous residents. Next door was smoking and it went all tthrough our room. The guy tried to make us pay again!

No nonsense good basic clean and comfortable accommodation. Quiet area.

Would have liked a lamp as lighting was quite bright. Bathroom tiles were slippery when wet, so a rubber suction shower mat would have been useful. A few hooks in the bathroom were needed.

5 star it is not, but definitely one of the best outback motels I have stayed in. Clean, friendly & comfortable.

great value for money if you just want a bed for the night - which is what we wanted

it was a small room but we stayed a third night because it was a better option than a tent in cold nights

It was convenient to food outlets handy to shopping center.

It was a little noisy with road traffic at night.

This was booked when we arrived said there was no booking and got turned away

The bathroom roller door needs a handle on both side as hard to open. Little bit further out of town than initially thought but ok
