Thirroul Beach Motel

Location

Very dated, no reception or staff when problems arise.

Location and room both great, very clean.

Lights outside room don't go off overnight, extremely light in our room. Maybe think about a more suttle globe or sensor lights.

Location

Rising damp. We got wheezy during the night.

Location

Room was basic (not deluxe!)Broken blinds. Broken shelf in bathroom. No staff anywhere to be seen

Location & parking was excellent. Very clean. The bed linen & towels were good.

Bathroom was very old. The plastic toilet seat had been burned & plastic coming off. It would be more hygienic to change the seat. Venetian blinds at front window were inadequate to keep out light and understandably the porch light was on all night for safety of guests. A few inexpensive changes would have made stay more comfortable.

Location great if attending Anita Theatre. Bed is exceptionally comfortable

Stained tea cups left in cupboard. No coffee mugs to use. Patches up side tables. Block out curtains have holes in them

would not recommend unless the...

first room the fridge was not turned on, notice water damage from bathroom arising damp in the wall suspect mold, moved to another room, fridge door would not close due to frost build up, we cleaned the ice build to be able to close door, found old blood and food particulars in the ice (presumably from previous occupant) they need to keep all their fridges frost free and clean and turned on and should also check the showers leak under the door screen.

Room was clean and comfortable,

The bathroom is very dated and the tap was very loose , car oark was a bit tight

Room was fabulous, spacious, comfy beds, clean.

The bathroom is in need of a renovation but for a budget apartment it was still great value.

It was air conditioned

Run down. Shower leaked all over floor. Dirty carpets. Mouldy walls. Power points unsafe.

This is a straightforward motel of traditional type. It provides somewhere to overnight on a journey that is clean, comfortable and functional. If taken for what it is, it is difficult not to like

One end of the motel abuts on to a main road and ear plugs might be advisable. The other end (number 10 on the lower floor and 20 on the upper) is perfectly quiet.

Amazing location and helpful staff, we had a bathroom issue but staff very very quick to respond and amend after hours

Bathroom could do with an update but also completely fine

Location- Thirroul/Wollongong

Smokers in nearby rooms - smoke coming into our room

It’s in a great location with an amazing restaurant next door … check in was easy… parking onsite

Our room was quite dated, shower clean was not clean …

Is was easy checking, the room was clean and no problems.

It was clean and close to the beach and restaurants. Good location . Good value for money .

A bit of noise from the street as it is located on a main road . But manageable.

Good location, served a purpose.

Although clean and tidy, it is an older property. In my opinion it was alittle overpriced for how old the property was. My son complained about the bunk bed being uncomfortable however my bed was fine.

Comfortable bed nice shower

The wardrobe had no bar to hang clothes, it was missing, one chair was extremely unsafe, we didn’t use it

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Easy to contact and communicate with.

Not the cleanest place (mold in bathroom), broken fly screens, etc.

Location Easy access for our vehicle. Kitchen space is good. Bed comfortable.

Would be nice to have a Bathroom door that closed. Our phone calls went unanswered
