Beds are uncomfortable , 50 dollars for late check out, EpiPens broken or out of order.

Overall a lovely little getaway. The check-in was fast and easy with some fun suggestionson what to do, massive plus when you had 3 little ones stuck in a car for hours.

Some things just need some TLC but nothing big. Completely understandable coming to the end of the school holidays, to the point it would seem like nitpicking.

Staff were great pool side cabana great nice quiet location. First time back in summer and kids loved it so definitely back again.

Bedrooms had no fan or air conditioning so they were pretty warm and the rooms held the warm temp overnight even with it only being 26-28 degrees days.

Very good price. Nice and clean. Good shower water.

Smaller than I expected. Especially the bunk bed room. Big children should be careful, don't hit the head when sit up. But anyway, great price for the value.

Layout of the villas was excellent. Kids loved the pools. Location was very central for our needs.

Tricky to get into the pool area when family members have gone ahead with the key.

The 2 bed cabin for a family of 4 has all you need. The pools are excellent. And the location was great for exploring and the beach.

Very poor for anyone with mobility issues. There were 6 steps to our cabin and no hand rail or bannister. Also the pool urgently needs upgraded signage to warn swimmers of the very different depths.

However, there are a few areas where improvements could enhance the experience, specially for families with children.The pool area would benefit from clearer signage indicating water depth and additional safety precautions, rather than relying entirely on families for supervision.The kids’ room did not have a fan and fans in the TV lounge and one of the rooms were very slow and not effective., which made it uncomfortable for sleeping. As a result, the children ended up sleeping on the TV lounge sofas.The TV screen in the lounge is relatively small for viewing from the sofas, which may cause eye strain.Air conditioning was only available in the TV lounge and appears to be quite old, with effective cooling limited to a very short distance.If these minor issues are addressed, the property would be a good option for kids and families to spend holidays. However, in its current state, it is more suitable for short stays of 2–3 days.

The staff were nice. Pool was lovely. When issues arose and notified staff offered additional night as compensation.

Cabin was not fully cleaned before use, moldy bread in cupboard and foodstuff under couches. Missing items advertised as being included. Cost to use BBQ and games room on premises. Local beach and Cafe minimum 2km away. When raising issues, staff tried to turn blame to my not reporting earlier using emergency number (missing dvd player or dish soap is not an emergency).

Just a nice spot on the coast for family wonting time away clean friendly and fun and peaceful all in one spot

It would be nice if the pool hours could be extended by 1 hour on a Friday and Saturday night to enjoy the pool lights that look fantastic.Disappointing that Bbq cost are not included in your accommodation costs.

How close we were to the pool

We thought our 3 rooms were going to be together but the villa wasn't close.

The cabin was comfortable and well equipped. Good location and friendly staff.

Lovely gardens surrounding the villa which made it private. Great pool area. Convenient parking at the villa door.

The games room could have been a little more exciting. It would have been good if there were some opportunities that didn't cost money in the roomThe Wi-Fi connectivity was extremely poor.It dropped out consistently.

We had a great time celebrating my birthday here with my family. The place is lovely, and we really enjoyed the swimming pool. There’s also a play area where the kids had fun playing table tennis and billiards. It’s close to Avoca Beach, where we enjoyed paddle boarding and kayaking. I would definitely recommend this place.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Palms at Avoca. We stayed with our two children and found the accommodation to be generally clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made us feel at ease from the moment we arrived.The location was also a big plus for us — it was close to everything we needed, which made our family trip very convenient and relaxing.Thank you for a lovely stay. We would be happy to visit again in the future.

We did notice a few insects, including some cockroaches, during our stay, so additional pest control or attention to this area would make the experience even better. Overall, however, we had a pleasant stay.

3 bdrm Chalet was great, it looked newly renovated and it had everything we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked with all essentials, the washer & dryer was very much needed, the private BBQ & massive outdoor decking area was so useful for our breakfast, lunch and dinner gatherings with our siblings and their families. The tropical backdrop was beautiful! The pool area & gaming room was also a hit. Staff were so helpful, professional and downright awesome.

No hooks in the ensuite for hanging toiletry bag/towels.
