Lithgow Motor Inn

We loved the location as it was close to the main town centre.

The quality and experience was a bit shocking, there was insects inside our room and although we heard room service, we didn't recieve any. Also no one at the front desk during the weekend.

The staff went out of their way to accommodate my late booking. Brand new bathroom . Comfortable bed. Price is very competitive

The location was a little outside the main part of Lithgow. Older style hotel. Probably ready for a new fitout to match the new bathroom .

The size of the bathroom was good, wifi and TV were fine. Linen and towels were clean though a tea towel would have been appreciated.

Cleanliness could have been better. There was dirt in the kitchen cupboards and mould in the shower grout. There was not much in the way of crockery and cutlery.

The experience was heightened by Lithgow having now water during this time. However, the room and its facilities are bordering on woeful. A prison cell would have cleaner and more modern facilities. eg the water jug, what a disgrace! Buy a new one!!!Thus I had to leave. I expect a refund for second night

enjoyed our stay, comfy bed although only one side of the electric blanket worked which is not good when the room is freezing and you are trying to warm up. the room was freezing especially the bathroom, I wish I had of brought a little heater as it took a long time for the air con to heat the room, bringing a heater would've been great for the bathroom, as it was so cold I did not even want to shower. needs big towels or bath mats for the floor to make it feel less cold.

Close to where I was going

Noise from the highway, but eat plugs fixed that.

Easy to find, pretty close to town and very friendly staff. Convenient all round.

Bit dated and overpriced for what it was.

Location, price, room cleanliness

The unit was very clean with good facilities. Large unit with a large bathroom. Unfortunately the bed was a little too form for us but that’s a personal choice.

The bed mattress was firm

For the price paid the bathrooms were covered in mould and there was a black mould water leak in the ceiling. The walls were paper thin and it scared my child listening to the man in the next room aggressively swearing all night. The heater just took the edge off the room for the night, glad it wasn’t any colder.

The room was clean and beds were comfortable.

Very noise, nest to the Highway and road workers comes to stay after their shift and they where loud talking and it was hard to sleep !

Bad

I cancelled my booking as the motel had such bad reviews. The person I called could not speak English clearly enough to understand. I was not able to contact Booking.com as no reception on the road so I called the motel out of politeness. These motels need to be on the spot inspected - not relied on for photos as they do not represent a true picture of what the motels are like. We are elderly so expect a good level of cleanliness!!!

Property was clean, comfortable and reasonably close to dining outlets.

Room was very neat and tidy, and more modern than I had initially expected. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful.

The location is a little out of the way, but as long as you have a car you will be OK.

Cleanness is a concern, mug/glass is dirty, fridge is dirty, the kettle is full of limescale, The door is not easy to lock, need to repair I think.

The beds were comfortable

The Management ruined our stay by double booking our rooms. Whilst we weren’t there, they entered our rooms and packed up our belongings and moved us into smaller rooms.
