Hermitage Motel

Very clean and welcoming staff. Rear units were nice and quiet. The rooms are aged as is the motel, but it was great value. Would recommend for a few nights stay.

The shower pressure was excellent and the location was good. The staff were friendly. (They need to remember to smoke outdoors away from reception area). Good motel if you are a shift worker and just need to rest your head for a few hours.

The bed was smelly and had stained pillows. it looked like someone had already been there and the bed was just made up without using new clean linen. The carpet is frayed and sticky to walk on. The bathroom had mould and was not clean. The security was lack - anyone could just push hard on the door and it would open - i put a chair behind the door for peace of mind.

There was a dead cock roach outside room the room smelt horrible the shower was very small and had a shower curtain yuk the window in main room was cracked and had a broom handle in it for security the bed side table was broken and on a bench away from bed the sheets were scratchy my kids complained about them and they were caramel in colour the pillows were very poor quality and had no support at all

Location was spot on. We were able to park our car and walk to our function. Even though it’s on a main road we slept soundly and didn’t hear any traffic. Beds comfy. Room very clean. Is it dated, yes, but apparently renovations are starting. We’d stay again !!

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were clean and well maintained. The kids loved and took full advantage of the pool

Cleanliness and staff.

Too noisey, not only the road noise, but there seems to be a boiler issue that makes a hell of a racket all night. Parking is near impossible, as the lines are so tight. Smoke from staff could be smelt in my room.

I feel that the MOTEL can do with a update, The GROUNDS and POOL NEED SOME TLC ,the pool area needs a Makeover sunken paving broken brickwork pool needs a proper internal cleaning and the plants need attention or replanting.

Although the Motel could do with a little TLC it was comfortable, clean and affordable. The staff were friendly and helpful.

clean, convenient, easy check in and out, lots of parking, close to shops, nice staff, has TV, kettle, microwave, milk, coffees, teas, fridge, cutlery, iron everything you need for short stay.
