Hamilton Hume Motor Inn

It was cheap.

Cleaning was shocking. The room had a wasp nest in it. And no aircon remote on a very hot summers night. It was challenging getting children to sleep and was a scary night worrying about them being bitten by a wasp.

Good location

Needs maintenance. Peeling wall in the bathroom

The need was very comfortable and we slept well. The location is handy to town.

Limited TV channels. Scalding hot water that could be dangerous, espied especially for children. Tree loppers with noisy machinery right behind our room in the morning.

Nothing likeable

Positive reviews for this motel cannot be trusted. This motel is looking very unkempt and neglected; is way overpriced for the quality; bathroom is frightening; lamp bulb blown; tv remote dead (we had batteries replaced - these things should checked on exit of customers); basic maintenance is lacking. Manager/owner doesn’t seem to care about the property.

Friendly staff and comfy bed.

Noise from other guests. People were yelling through the night.No where to put suitcases and bathroom toiletries.Carpet looked dirty.

The car parking area was big and convenient

The accommodation experience was poor. It's dilapidated and the facilities are old. The sound of turning on the tap when taking a bath in the next room is too noisy. The carpet and pillowcases in the guest room are very dirty. What I can't stand most is that there is a step at the bathroom door, which is very likely to cause injury.It's easy to fall when using the bathroom at night. I specially placed a chair in front of the door. I never expected there to be such an inhumane design in Australia. I hastily booked this hotel due to a last-minute change in my itinerary. Cleanliness and safety are the basic standards of a hotel

Clean comfortable two bedroom space with good amenities

Really comfortable, quiet, great communication, great value and not far from the Yass Soldiers Club for a great meal.

Noisy but overwise comfortable

There was some partying going on late night and a guest started up a noisy diesel vehicle very early, so yes there was a problem with noise.

Yass is a very convenient stopping off place from the Hume Hwy. The motel has comfortable beds - had a good sleep. The kitchenette has good bench space, but the bathroom has no bench. The walls are only moderately soundproof. The neighbouring room occupants woke and departed at sunrise, and included the child crying (not the fault of the motel, luck of the draw). This is the third time to stay here, and would be happy to stay again.

Very Quiet close to wear we needed to be, had every thing we needed.

YASS water forgot how bad it is.
