Camellia Motel

Location

It has had an upgrade and was very clean and tidy

Friendly reception, decent rooms - nice to get a little bottle of milk for tea/coffee. Pool wasn't functional - would have been nice to know in advance, but narrandera does have a great water park. Decent enough for a stop en route.

Functioning pool would have been good.

The family room is excellent- very spacious

Pool was advertised but it was 1/2 full and brown- was looking forward to 3 children to go swimming

Was a little disappointed with the housekeeping finish. Went to make my morning coffee and there were no coffee mugs at all in the room as well as the cutlery had not been replenished. One cutlery bag was empty. Only one glass in room as well. I have stayed at this property before and not experienced this finish to a room.

Good compendium. A lot of motels no longer have them. Good sign saying ,, no reverse parking. All motels should have those signs. Easy to operate TV and remote.

Language difficulty with staff. Shower and bathroom could be cleaner. Major complaint is the truck noise, day and night. It's on the Newell Highway, and that issue can't be fixed. Shower could do with more water pressure.

The bed was comfortable, great.

A vibration could be felt when sitting down along with a thumping noise. Dusty and the carpet needed a good clean.

Good sized room with a very comfortable bed.Great location, walking distance to everything. The manager was great and we were very happy to get moved to a room off the highway. Nice and quiet.

No sink in the bathroom. But that’s very picky.

The Camellia is very clean and a great price. Staff are very helpful and welcoming. Handy walking distance to restaurants and shops. We have stayed there several times now and will continue to do so.

Location noisy from busy highway

Filthy carpet, hand basin in main room not in bathroom.

Nice clean motel very good value for money easy walk to town

Spacious clean room. Comfortable bed large clean bathroom.

Strong perfume when entering room. Needed to open windows.

Bad

It’s been advertised by booking .com as renovated Ithe sign out the front says recently renovated I stayed there 2 years ago and the carpet is the same dirty filthy carpet that was there then booking.com should check before falsely advertising

Good pool.Excellent service even provided facilities to wash roadworks mud of car.Best motel on whole trip.

We were there for a wedding it really suited our need staff where very helpful we had 2 cars and they arranged parking Thank you

All fine

Stay was very good; motel staff are polite and respectful and motel is very clean and tidy.

Nice and clean, good location

Nothing much did have a little difficulty in understanding the staff member but he was friendly

easy location and very comfortable stay. friendly staff

The room was good and big enough for our stay. The air-conditioner worked well and the noise from the highway dulled when we shut our window on the second night we stayed there.

Ther could have been more hanging space in the bathroom. I had to put my clothes on the toilet lid when I had a shower. A small bench in the bathroom also would be helpful.

Very friendly welcome and the room was very clean. Saw the cleaner working on a room as we were leaving and everything (including the microwave) was being moved to be cleaned around. Impressive. Updates to the bathroom were excellent and I believe the carpets will be next.
