Newell Motor Inn Narrandera

The owner was very helpful by providing an extra night as we arrived too early at the motel in Wagga and they could not give us an extra night as they were fully booked out. The room was clean and not too small, and the bed was comfortable. The motel was about 2km out of town but had good places to eat. We were able to do a lot of bush waking and sight seeing.

The staff communication was excellent - I arrived later in the evening after a long drive. I had received advice in the afternoon confirming that my room was ready and included advice about checking in. The room was a good size. The bed was comfortable and the linen was of good quality. The shower alcove was a good size, and it did not take long for the hot water to come through. The bath towels were fluffy (although the face washer was a little hard).

The motel is well located on the highway, but this means that the rooms face the road, and there is some noise from the trucks passing bye or stopping at the nearby service station. After 10pm the external noise dropped off and a good night's sleep was had.

This property was clean. A great stay as a stopover between locations. Location was a little way out of town with no meal options at property. Had outdoor seating area for every room which was appreciated.

The outdoor bbq area was unkept and linen although clean could do with an upgrade.

It was a typical highway motel from a couple of decades ago. Clean and convienient with the closest food at the roadhouse across the road - which didn't do a bad meal.

It was what you would expect and there is nothing really bad to say.

Well kept grounds despite hot weather conditions. Room was lovely and clean, with a comfortable bed, two reading lamps, very good kitchen equipment and bathroom was also very well looked after.

Nothing. One of the best overnight motels we have been in Sydney to Adelaide.

I do not like my crockery cutlery and sugar tea and coffee stored in the wardrobe.I do not like washing my cups etc in the bathroom.Lack of cupboard space

Old being asked not to use the single bed because it wasn't what I paid for?...

Onsite free parking out the front of the room is great, room was very clean, bed well made and bathroom spotless.

The convenience of being on the highway is met with some highway noise during the night

The room was spotless. Beds were comfortable. The facilities within room excellent with microwave, toaster, crockery and cutlery.

The TV was too complicated to work. But the staff helped us to find some basic channels

Room amenities were below standard, Milk was not fresh even though it was the small long-life type when put into a hot drink it split and form fat deposits in the beverage

Back from highway so only low road noise but still only short walk to servos on other side of highway for food. Carpark at front door. Clean and comfortable. Great hot water and pressure for shower. Friendly staff. Value for money.

Brick building although some noise from next door, not unusual in motels and why I always have earplugs for getting to sleep.

Perfect location just out of town, clean well sized troom. Kitchenette facilities were satisfactory. Room was well priced and late check in was extremely helpful. Staff were courteous and helpful.

Great location on the outskirts of town. Disturbed around 3am by alarms going off and large vehicles starting and leaving. Bed wasn't the most comfortable but considering what I paid and the convenience of late check in I was satisfied. Room was clean and decent size.

Clean comfortable room in a quiet location with an EV charger at a good price.

It was quiet (double glazed windows), it was convenient (on highway), the guy on reception was friendly & helpful & had a Swimming pool,

It was good value for the price but it was a couple of minutes from the town.
