Gateway Motor Inn

Restaurant with decent food on site, excellent proximity to town centre and well maintained.

It's an old building with old decor, but that's why it's cheap. With car parks immediately out front of your room you're guaranteed to be woken by other guests leaving at sunrise.

We have used this Motel twice now for work related jobs. we travel near 400kms to do work in the area and it comes recomended

Location, comfort, value, quiet

nothing really

The Motor Inn is located on the Main Street, so it is a good central location to explore the town. A nice and affordable Motel option when traveling through, also.

Good size room clean and not noisy.

We were able to take our dog and the room was lovely, warm and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

The central location, and view over the main street.

Very run down. We froze, the air conditioner did not work on the heat cycle. The old heater falling off the wall didn't work either. Everything is old and tired. Place needs a total refurbishment.Would not recommend to anyone.

Very good Location?

Room was pretty cold aircon not the best and power point for kettle tripping. Other than that all ok

location

room rate given restaurant wasn't available, chose to pay extra so I didn't have to go out for a meal. Resturant was closed - notified after payment. some areas of building in need of maintenance

Location is great - in centre of town

It needs more cleaning - specially bathroom door and cupboards doors where everyone is touching

The motel was walking distance to multiple places & had all you required in the rooms. The room had plenty of room & was serviced each day. The front of house manager was friendly & professional.

One thought would be a designated smoking area possibly somewhere, as cigarette smoke from other people smoking outside the room permeated into our room. Having ashtrays on every table & chairs outside rooms encouraged smokers to sit & smoke.

Easy booking and after hours access

Parking was a little difficult due to high volume of travelers

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great central location.

Small room, but adequate.

Great location, quiet, comfortable and really pleasant staff.

Friendly helpful staff

Slight draft. Maybe something on bottom on doors

An older property, comfortable with a good pool.

A busy time so a little noisy.

Excellent communication with staff, room was clean and tidy, bed comfortable, very happy stay

Room comfortable, clean, good location

Great location in the middle of town but quiet. Pet friendly. Microwave and eating utensils provided. Good size room.

East to book, helpful staff members, good communication

Very small bathroom Early risers were very noisy, calling out and revving up work vehicles at 5.30 am
