    Pros +

    • location convenient but some traffic noise
    • Stay away from this one whatever you do.
    • No much to like sadly.

    Cons -

    • The room smelt stale and mouldy. Fingerprints on door that had not been wiped. Discovered a large wad of hair behind bathroom. door. Pillows appeared brown . Bed soft and springy. No exhaust fan in bathroom and window difficult to open.
    • I requested a quiet, ground-floor room months in advance and heard absolutely nothing back. On arrival, I was placed on the second floor, which meant lugging heavy suitcases up the stairs. The room was small with very basic facilities, and the “quiet” part never happened. Between pub and party noise and loud trucks all night, sleep was clearly optional.Poor communication, poor accessibility, and zero peace and quiet. Would not recommend.
    • Grubby man greeted us firstly. Room was shabby despite half hearted attempts to modernize. Missing paint, section of unsealed wall, plumbing on display in ceiling over shower. Curtains don’t block light out! Noise coming under door as big gap. Owners seem unaware what people like these days.

Clean and warm. They had the heater on when we arrived as it was freezing outside

    Bed could be bigger

Excellent location, close to the centre of Goulburn with many shops and restaurants nearby. The hotel was quite comfortable and good resources.

Very hard to park. The parking lot was small and was almost full when we arrived. If we had left for dinner we would probably not have found a place to park on return. Reception was always full of phone calls, so we had to wait to check-in.

Extremely clean and new bathrooms were great.NZ Guy at the front desk was extremely helpful and suggested a few restaurants and directed us to supermarkets without us even asking.

Terrible rooms. Very dodgy. Semi-renovated bathroom but bad sewerage smell when shower was turned on. Patched up holes in walls but not finished. Possible mould. Bench was falling apart. Towels were shredding. Dusty. Absolutely nothing like the photos.

The bathroom was newly renovated.Good location being Centre of town.

The room hadn’t been cleaned properly before we arrived ? Sheets hadn’t been changed, carpet hadn’t been vacuumed, soaps in dispensers in shower were empty. Noisy main road.

Just loud water or appliance noise intermittently . I have stayed there before. Great value and well appointed.

The most comfortable motel bed I have ever slept in.Lovely renovated room. Close to everything.

Lovely staff, walking distance to main street. Room was clean and comfortable.

Install a fan, don't always need to use air conditioner.

Friendly staff, good location, clean and tidy

    8StevePosted on: 3-20-2025

Newly renovated bathroom, very nice and clean! The whole room was pretty good, seeing as it's an old motel, it has been looked after and seems to be well maintained. Don't be put off by the bland white exterior, it's much nicer in the room.Everything was very clean and worked well.

The freezer in the small fridge could use a defrosting, it was quite clogged up with ice. My wife commented (as with lots of places) that the shower stall, and bathroom area generally could do with some shelving, it's annoying when there's nothing to put toiletries and shampoo, etc. onto.

    friendly staff on arrival

Dont stay here!!! you will go home with BED BUGS!!! I was bitten so badly i couldnt think straight. Bites on my back, face, neck, legs, buttom absoultly everywhere!! There were holes in the wall under the bench that had been blocked up with paper towels that had been there for what looked like years!!The sheets on the double bed werent changed from previous tennant as they ( both top and bottom sheet) were BLOOD STAINED on the same side of the bed which indicates they were not changed because if they were these sheets would have been seperated. There was alot of noise from ouside on the streets so very limited sleep and the parking lot has limited parking which you need to reverse out of all the way back to the road as theres no where to turn around.. not all tennants get a parking spot. there is street parking out the front.Id never recomend or stay here again! by far the absolute WORST stay we have ever had!!

Location in the centre of the Main Street.

Reception staff disinterested and very poor interpersonal skills.Rooms are very dated ( however there was evidence that some rooms were under refurbishment.Whilst there was a key drop box , I was surprised that the office didn’t open till 9.00am
