The staff offered snacks and beverages free of charge for the festival in town. Cleaning staff was efficient and did not bother us while we were in our room. The fridge worked as expected and kept my drinks cold.

There were stains on the carpet and walls from when the rooms used to be smoking rooms decades ago. The AC knob does not work as intended and in one of the rooms it was broken. The bathrooms do not have a fan.

The parking area is near ,the service cheap breakfast and free dinner,free drip coffee bar.

The shower room has. Mold.The room has a cigarettes smell. Room carpet is dirty

Very friendly staff, free bread, snacks, miso soup and drink. Toilet is very clean.

Room is quite small and the carpet is stained. Some facilities, like the ac unit, is very old. Blanket is a bit thin. It was a bit pricey due to theAomori Nebuta Matsuri.

Free parking, fine location in Hachinohe. Staff were very nice and friendly.

Entire building smells like cigarettes. Cigarette burns in the carpets. Generally kind of a dingy place.

I liked the location. I liked the breakfast. The green tea is cool. I liked how quiet it was.

I couldn't get all the power outlets working. No power equals no green tea or cell phone charging

Breakfast was very good as always. The location is probably better than any other hotels in the center of Hachinohe. Close to the restaurant area but far enough to be quiet.

Non-Smoking rooms were not available. Since the hotel is not one of the newest, the rooms strongly smell like cigarette. If this could be improved even slightly, I would be more satisfied.

It’s a simple hotel, but the rooms do the job for a good night of resting and the staff go above and beyond to make you feel at home. The room was clean and even though you can notice the passing of time, they are still perfectly comfortable and clean.

Breakfast was really good. I can choose this hotel only for that service.The staff was really helpful and they prepared some snacks and alcohol during the festival.

There was only one lift. It was quite noisy when the staff started working (I was on the 7th floor, I think).The sound of the staff walking reflected in the corridor and came into my room (maybe, it was because of my room´s location).

Quite old, the room flooring definitely has to be changed. The bathroom didn’t have a fan (or was it broken?). The staff was nice but they were not aware of the bus schedule in the city.

You get what you pay. It was a small old room. Bath was clean. Very close (25 minutes) to the shinkansen station. Staff was helpful, but couldn't speak English. Breakfast was also fine. It's a good option for one night.

The hotel is old, but nothing I didn't expect after reading the reviews. The bed was hard, not the hardest, but top 3 in my journey at this point.

Old Showa-era Hotel. We stayed in a smoking room and it was not so bad, but those sensitive to smoke smell should avoid. Great location. I'd stay again. Good value for money.

Comfortable. It was a smoking room, I am a smoker it was a nice fit.

I didn't realize they would park your car for you in their lot so I was a little bit confused. Jaoanese is not my first language though.

The room and bathroom have a terrible smell, it was a smocking room but didn’t smell tabacco. We put a lot of products to destroy the smell and keep the window open but it changes nothing, our clothes smelled very bad when we leaved. We’re blaming the management, not the staff.

Bed linen, pillow and mattress were comfortable and clean. Staff friendly and helpful.

I specified a NON SMOKING room. My room was on a non smoking floor, but the room stank of smoke. It was terrible. i couldn't get rid of the smell. Also, the carpet was "at the end of its life" - threadbare in places and worn out.

I was really positively suprised by this hotel as it had so many bad reviews at the time of booking. To be fair, we only tried our luck as it was the last one in the vicinity of the Nebuta festival in Aomori, so did not have any real expectations and just wanted a bed. However, the staff already greeted us really warmly and the room was a typical standard hotel room for business purposes. I am very sensitive towards smoke and the smell of it in rooms that have been converted to non-smoking rooms but I really could not smell a thing in our room. I usually get a bad headache if there is even a trace, so I was really pleasantly suprise as some reviews stated otherwise. The non-smoking and smoking rooms are separated by levels in the hotel, so there was no smell in the halls either. The room had all the normal necessities like soap, fridge, razor, tea, and what have you. We did not go snooping into every corner of the room, but felt that all was nice and clean. There are some convenience stores and many restaurants and izakayas around. Getting to the train station was rather easy with either bus or train, you only had to watch out for the last one around 10pm, otherwise taxis where the only option (around 3000 yen in 2023). There is also a parking space on the hotel property for guests. In total, we had a really lovely time here and would recommend it for everyone travelling on a budget!

Some late night public transport options would be great but the hotel is at no fault here.
