Hotel Route Inn Misawa

Very convenient to the Air Base. 3 minute walk to the front gate. Many restaurants and bars around the hotel.

No parking for tall vehicles.

great location, good value, really nice staff

breakfast was a little on the cheap side, the bathroom shower curtain smelled musty

I should try to gatekeep this fantastic for the money hotel, but I won't! Perfect location, just enough room for my needs, the breakfast and service were an amazing introduction to Japanese culture.

My husband was working at Misawa AFB and walked to work every morning; about 5 minutes to the gate. Breakfast was amazing and had lots of variety. The onsen in the hotel was so convenient and we loved being able to go soak for a few minutes everyday. They gave us the option to forgo daily room cleaning and instead give us tokens for the vending machine. We thought that was a nice little perk. We shipped our luggage from Narita airport to this hotel and had no issues. Highly recommend this place.

Jūgyōin wa hoteru o dorehodo taisetsu ni omotte iru ka ga yoku wakarimasu. Tsuneni reigi tadashiku, purofesshonaru de, shinsetsudesu.

Location convenient. Breakfast buffet was excellent!

Staff who could speak english

I loved the onsen! And the staff were all very professional and very helpful.

If they could add soy milk that would be very helpful for vegans.

The location was what we wanted as we were visiting family at the US Air Force Base. It fit our needs, and what we expected. The breakfast was good.

The room was very small and a big divider to get to the bathroom (a tripping hazard). The pillows were not that comfy.

Staff is nice and room is fine.

Breakfast is included for the first three days of stay, which is nice, but it's impossible to go to if you're not an early riser. Neighborhood is not great.

Great staff - I mean, really good. Having had to break the stay into two bookings due to lack of a non-smoking room on one night, when one became available, they combined my two bookings into one. So I didn't have to check out and check back in again in the evening. Also the morning shifts were great with calling taxis for me. Good breakfasts, nice onsen and the room was quiet, despite being next to the lift shaft.

The only thing I didn't like is I didn't book quickly enough to get the full length of stay I wanted. But that is not a criticism of the hotel - when an airshow is on, you have to book early and quickly.

Great location with parking, clean comfortable rooms. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Coin laundry on site.

The shower was great. Breakfast was amazing, the booking.com website did not explain how wonderful breakfast would be

The bathroom floor had a small incline, for drainage this makes sense but it is a but nauseating. Like being on a cruise ship

The Route Inn at Misawa is near to the Misawa Air Base, there are several restaurants / diners within walking distance. Parking is included, we have been using this Hotel since our first visit to Japan in 2007. Easy to find, good location, very helpful staff, quick check-in, comfortable well-lit rooms, free coffee in reception, breakfast is included.

Location was great if you’re looking to be near the military base in Misawa They also have a complementary breakfast buffet in the morning

A little small for a guy with two but still a great accommodation overall

the breakfast was very good . The staff was wonderful ! Very helpful and friendly , they helped with many things - making a restaurant reservation , calling cabs and just being nice .

I requested a smoking room and the window was a little difficult to open and close . It wasn't a big thing , the room had a very nice air filter so the smoke wasn't a problem .

Great location if you’re looking for a place to stay close to the Airport and the US military base. Room and facilities are great. Staff are friendly. I loved the public hot bath. Breakfast is also included, which added even more value to the price of the room.

The hallway and the room smelled like humidity, or even moldy. It wasn’t unbearable but definitely was unpleasant when I first entered. And the shower curtain also had some black spot (mold-like).

I had to leave too early for breakfast. Self serve coffee was available until 10pm with was a lifesaver for me. I asked for extra towels. The staff was accommodating for my request.

Non applicable. I liked the hotel a-lot. This is my 3rd visit at this location. The parking was free which is a big plus. It's also 30 seconds from the base. For those working in Misawa, this is a prime location.

Location for Misawa is perfect. You can roll out of bed and be there in 5 minutes. Lots of local bars and restaurants nearby for food and beverages. Hotel staff is excellent. Room is always clean, but furnishings are a bit old and dated. Then again, everything worked perfectly at the hotel. Good, filling breakfast option. Free parking.

Breakfast and public bathtub!

Noise from the next doors.

Very courteous staff. Hotel is in a good location and parking garage was convenient for getting around.. Definitely recommend!
