ART HOTEL Aomori

The rooms are very well equipped, very well furnished and very comfortable.

The car parking facilities under the hotel car park service is not very good. When the car park are full, you will need to park very far away.

1.) I selected this property because i drove to the location with my car and wanted to park my car at hotel while sightseeing. The hotel has no parking, you have to park your car at one of the parking lots in the area of the hotel. Parking is paid for and limited. Staff informed me parking might fill up if i move my car from the spot. 2.) Wifi is not good at all. 3.) No apps on TV(ie Netfilix, Disney+) for family-Kids.4.) Only one international channel(CNN). Bummer

The family room is very spacious, and there are nice decorations in the public spaces especially lobby area, and very good value for money if you are a family of 4

Location is a bit far from Aomori station, the coin laundry is 100 yen more that other hotels I stayed at in other cities

The lobby area with nebuta was so beautiful! I also liked the free amenities. Breakfast was excellent and we ate at the restaurant one night which was also delicious. Location was very convenient for walking around town. We stayed in the special nebuta room and really enjoyed it.

Couldn't control the air temperature in the room. Either hot and stuffy or cold when we opened the window.

Somewhat harder beds than most hotels in Japan, somewhat stuffy rooms. Parking can be tight.

The location was nice as it was close to the port and downtown area with plenty of restaurants to choose from and combini. Be sure to reserve at a restaurant ahead of time on busy weekends. Parking was close by in a busy hotel lot, but a fair price. We never ate at the hotel so cannot comment on the food. The apple juice at welcome was a nice touch and the float decorations in the lobby were beautiful.

The a/c did not work well at all and we were really hot and stuffy in our room. I felt there was a body odor smell in our room and since we were staying two more nights my spouse and I decided to upgrade when offered by the staff ($100 a night to a superior room). The smell was still present in the other room and the a/c was not much better, though the extra space felt refreshing. The "art hotel" was not much of a display, so that was not too impressive.

Good location but no hotel parking.

the ac is uncontrollable from within the room. so you can choose only low medium and high. but even with the high option, the ac still seems to not have any effect at all. it was quite hot and can’t breathe. luckily, we were on 11th floor, and the weather was little bit chilly, so we opened the window and it was much better. the hotel had the fan available but the fan was old and noisy. i had no idea why the hotel choose this AC option as it is probably the worst thing one can do.

The wifi is consistently not stable in my room. I think they need to add more wifi booster.The location is 15 minutes walk from Aomori Station. If ever you need to go to the station, walking is the best option. The counter staff will tell you where to take bus but they are not aware that walking is faster than waiting for bus.

Nice hotel with a modern feel. A bit of a walk from the station but a great location near the harbor. Comfortable beds and a nice view. Not the cheapest of hotels but the amazing breakfast made it feel worthwhile. The free apple juice was greatly appreciated (Aomori being famous for its apples).

The room felt a bit cramped with 3 beds. Rather strange layout with lots of space in the dressing room, although that allowed us to store our luggage there.

Location was 14 mins walking distance from the Aomori JR train station. It was near the waterfront where there is a nice walk way all the way back to the train station, shops and museum. Breakfast was brilliant Japanese / Western food. Very clean rooms and cleaning services. Reception staff are helpful, friendly and speak good English.

Only one thing was that the Japanese Twin bed rooms have the beds together like 1 large bed. So my friend and I pushed them apart and then moved the night stand into the middle. No problems, but Western Tourists booking this should be aware.

The location was very good and centrally located.

The room and especially the bathroom was very small. It looked and felt like a tiny bathroom in an RV. The staff was not particularly friendly. One didn't even look for availability when we asked if we could extend our stay for another night and said that there was no room available. Interestingly enough we were able to make reservation for one extra night on our own via booking.com

The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

I stayed in a small room which smelled terrible. The price was very expensive for such an inadequate accommodation.
