Hotel Route Inn Aomori Ekimae

Very nice onsen, nice breakfast, nice staff, top tier location.

Breakfast was delicious and offered lots of variety.

Bath tub was too high to enter.

Hard mattress/beds! Wouldn't stay again due to this.Great location opposite station, good breakfast, minimalist room. Lots of restaurants/bars nearby. Station has lots of shops/eateries too.

Fantastic location near train station and shopping street, convenience stores and restaurants. The bath is an excellent deep style, perfect for those of us foreigners with tattoos, who cannot use the public bath. I like the firm bed. They give you a free drink for getting no cleaning, only towel replacement.

I did not get left fresh towels by the cleaners, I had to go to reception to ask. There is bad mould in the fridge seal, it needs to be cleaned. The entrance to the bath area is very high, and difficult for me with sore knees. The wifi often becomes unusable, which is frustrating. They are playing music at night in the halls, which is disturbing for falling asleep.

Staff were very friendly sand spoke English. They let me leave my bag there for the day.

Breakfast was mediocre compared to other places but the room was cheap.

Great location - literally across from the station.Friendly staff and easy check-in and check-out.As per other reviews, beds were firm (but not hard) - kind of like sleeping on a futon. Slept like a baby.

The location was perfect!, just next to the Aomori JR station and near Shinmachi shopping street, also near the A-factory and Nebuta museum The staff are also nice and helpfulBreakfast was Ok, not so many types of food but reasonable with the priceThere’re also public bath upstair which good to enjoy after a long day!Recommended, will stay here again if visiting Aomori

The hotel was very run down. Wallpaper coming of walls. Looked. In need of some TLC the whole place stink of smoke.

Breakfast is O.K and Location is near a popular place that we can walk around the hotel.

I know that the hotel don't have Non smoking room. but i've booked 3 rooms for my family. i've found 1 of 3 rooms that i've smelled a heavy smoke of Cigarette.

An older hotel that provides good value for money mostly due to its excellent location. It's right in front of Aomori station so it's easy to get around by train or by foot, as most attractions of the city are right around you. Despite the central location there was no bothersome noise.Air conditioning seems to have been upgraded recently since the unit looked brand new and worked nicely. The breakfast was decent.

The hotel's age does show in many places, as the rooms and public areas are rather worn out. The bathroom in particular could use a refresh. I found the bed much too hard, even though I usually like firm beds. Room locks are of the traditional type so make sure to lock your door manually. Wifi didn't work at all in my room.

The bed was hard and when you rolled over ,the bed base cracked and creaked , it felt like it was going to fall apart. Also the bar fridge was very noisy,it made loud humming and whirring sound every time the thermostat turned on.To be fair it might have just been the one in the room I had.

The wifi was Okay. They even have their own onsen. It is right next to the station and close to the beach.

The breakfast was not what they showed on the picture. The bed was so hard to sleep on and the light in the room was as if laying in a factory.

It’s just next to JR Station. Very accessible to all locations in the town with lots of amenities. After all those sightseeing, nice to soak and relax on their hot bath. Oh yes breakfast is decent but it’s very fillings.??????????

Nothing to be dislike about the Hotel.?

Just a short walk from JR Aomori station. Near bus station. Plenty of restaurants and convenient stores near the hotel. Hotel staff are friendly and courteous. Breakfast is good with plenty of choices.

Bed was on the firm side.

Very convenient opposite the station, cosy hotel and breakfast was free and good.

Bed was a bit too firm. Needed a spongy mattress protector you could feel the mattress through the sheet.

Location.Air conditioning and heater works well.

Bath tub is deep, but a bit narrow, but it’s pretty ok.

Very close to train station and Aomori beach. Public bath is so good. Breakfast is very good.
