Toyoko Inn Shin-Aomori-eki Higashi-guchi

The hotel is very near Shin-Aomori Station. Very convenient for traveller.

There's no Combini near hotel, I have to walk for 20 mins far away to find one.

Great location. The breakfast was good. Friendly and helpful staff.

Room Smells, carpet was sticky and damp, the receptionist at the from desk was rude

The closeness from the station, the amenities, cleanliness and the friendliness of the staffs. Loved the breakfast too. I even made a club membership card :).

The location is very convenient. Just 5 mins (or less) from JR shin-aomori station. The check-in & check-out process is easy. The room is comfortable for 2 people and equipped with the things you need.

There isn’t anything restaurant to eat around the hotel but it doesn’t bother us since we are aware of this and had dinner at Aomori city already.

The hotel is in a great location for the shinkansen. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean but the bed was very hard.

It's very close to the train station.

The area was too quiet and there's no nearby shop. It should be ok to walk around the streets during summer and autumn time. However when I visited in mid December with thick snow every where, I did not prefer to walk around the area though convenient stores might not be too far away.

Was convenient for catching early train, only had to drag heavy cases a few minutes from station.

The beds, and the cost, price to value ratio. If it had cost £20 less would have been acceptable. We stayed in the same chain of hotels at Narita airport and were prepared to put up with tiny room as price was good and location handy. Although this room identical to that at airport our experience was very different. The beds are so ridiculously firm that I was awake all night as my hips hurt so much. We also had an incident with a fire alarm going off but no announcement in English to tell us it was a false alarm. We left our rooms, along with other non Japanese speaking guests trying to find out what was going on but couldn’t leave our floor without smashing the fire doors plastic seal so ended up doing exactly what you shouldn’t do in a fire and took the lift to reception. The staff were busy trying to check in new guests rather than dealing with the confusion caused by the fire alarm.

Conveniently located at the JR station. Convenience stores are a bit away though.

Toilet in 1408 has sewage smell. Beds are hard.

Very close to the station, which was great in a snowstorm! The room was impeccably clean, and the bath was huge. I also really appreciated the staff, they had excellent English and were very friendly. Highly recommend

I liked before they started using checkin machines. I prefer to talk with a real person when I check in. or maybe I just don’t like the GUI which made for domestic visitors.

Not big, but you can get everything you need. Very close to train station that is very important for first time visitor esp. in snow season. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast inclusive and quality beyond expectation.

Area around the hotel closes really early. Sometimes if you’re coming back late at night, the hotel display lights might turn off, making it hard to find your way back.

Near JR Shin Aomori.New Hotel room is new ,have many AC outlets.Room is Toyoko inn's standard.Breakfast is better than another Toyoko inn hotel, many choices.

It’s right next to Shin-Aomori station. Brand new so very clean and functional. I paid $43 single room so I can only say I’m very happy for what I’ve received and already booked to stay again for winter. A place just to shower/ sleep/ simple freshly cooked breakfast: comfortable.
