Plainsman Motel

Excellent location to town, and it was Clean and tidy and served the purpose for our stay for a funeral that we had to attend in Forbes

Nothing everything was satisfactory.

Central location, easy to find, freshly painted, value for money.

Location was good with walking access to town

Comfortable beds. Freshly painted inside the rooms. Opposite the Club where we had a nice meal. Main road location but traffic noise was negligible..

The exterior looks a bit sad but it appears they are working on it. Old grotty chairs outside the rooms. Sand trays with cigarette butts in them.

Comfortable and roomy, Great location, Advised to use Legacy establishment across road. Much appreciated as lovely meal.

All good until trying settle down for the night and disturbance early in the morning. Neighbours on both sides are too easily overheard through the walls. A great pity as otherwise a good motel. Left feeling tired.

Staff were amazing motel was clean spotless. Towels clean and soft. Definitely will book again

Nice location opposite the club for easy able to walk across for dinner

Our bathroom bins where not empty on arrival, fridge light not working, kitchen was run down (kitchen cupboard was crumbling, didnt use anything as didn’t feel hygienic. Take your own toilet paper as no spare only half roll on toilet, pipes bang loudly early in morning if neighbour uses shower.

Clean! Comfy beds. Well presented.

No vents in bathroom makes it hot

The lady at the front desk when I thi k is the owner was rude from the minute we got there. We informed them that we were driving all day due to moving and would be there around 8pm. The lady was rude, unfriendly and unwelcoming. I wouldn’t stay here again. The room was dirty, there was hair from the people before and rot in the bathroom.

The location is top notch and staff very friendly

quite dated. I know they have refurb some rooms, but the one I stayed in was very old

Friendly staff, clean, across the road from club which serves meals until late, petrol station next door, very convienient.

location was excellent and staff were friendly. it may not be the newest place in town but there is an old fashion warmth about this place. daily service with replenishment of towels down to biscuits. free use of the washing machine with complementary soap powder and the outdoor clothes line for drying. walk into town and around the Forbes beautiful lake.Forbes is rich in history and has many historic buildings.

Friendly staff. Comfortable and clean room with some great additions like plates, cutlery, toaster etc. Will certainly stay again.

Great location and just a traditional motel with country feel. Lovely staff and so close to everything.

Was a bit dated and rough. Cob webs in bathroom window, dodgy handyman work and our friend had a mouldy room. Very firm bed and we were there on a busy weekend and it was a bit loud with people walking past the front window less than a step away from the bed.

Table and bbq by the pool, location, easy to find and head to parts of Forbes. Loved that I was handed a milk first things and everything we could need was there in the room. It was also very sound proof, aatge group of party goers were so staying there and we didn't hear them once!!

The loo or around the toilet smelt very uriney, I could tell it was clean, it's probably the grout or ingrained in the seat. The bed was super hard, which just isn't for us. I also couldn't control the tv from the bed, I had to stand up.

Location and parking.

Not a problem but bathroom renovation wasn't quite finished. Still nice, and functional.

The hotel is expensive for the state, age and disrepair of the rooms, furniture, bathrooms and pool. It needs a desperate upgrade.
