Staff were very friendly. Beds are comfortable.

No hairdryer in the room had to call reception to get one. Next to a train line, very loud.

The room was comfortable.

The location is right near a train crossing and truck thoroughfare. The motel needs to warn customers that there will be truck and train noise all night.

Everything was good. Would have been great if the restaurant was open for business, but proximity of motel to other food outlets meant that it was not a problem.

Nothing that I didn't like.

The bathroom window had been left open with no fly screen causing a large amount of mozzies in the room on arrival! The towel had a red/brown smear all over it and looked unclean. The online website said check in available until 9pm, on arrival no one was there and all we were told was “you should have received a sms”.

Stay here for one night.Just around the corner from the Big pub.Don’t judge a book by its cover.Rooms are excellent and well renovated.Outside could done some loving but I’m sure their working on it.ThanksMark

Easy walk to main shops. Comfortable bed. Small bathroom. Would stay here again.

Friendly check-in, location is reasonable. As a former local i knew what to expect with local motels.

It's an old motel going through renovations. Whilst rooms looked newly painted, they were still an old decor

Not clean and it had an unpleasant smell. The shower drain was blocked which made showering unhygienic to say the least. I was put in a room that was in a dirty dinghy corner of the building

Noisy due to road traffic. Car park and front of house is not very well maintained so not all that inviting.

Unfortunate rail level crossing very close with occasional astonishingly long freight trains blowing horns, and big trucks bumping over tracks. However had to run the air conditioner as window didn't open, so couldn't hear too much at night, apart from the horns.

Had to travel 14hrs for a my grandfathers funeral. Arrived earlier than expected. Early book in, not a problem, so welcoming, making sure ac was on as it was 38 degrees in Forbes. comfortable clean accommodation with everything you need. Friendly down to earth staff that far exceeded my expectations. Harry and Netty, Thank you so much. Absolutely beautiful people. ?

Nothing could be done, but it is relatively close to the railway, which transports cargo once or twice at night.

Parking and the amount of people not staying there, (not workers but people walking past) walking into the car park and looking at vehicles.

upgraded to king room. The motel is a bit old but room good including renovated bathroom, bed really comfortable

air conditioning was old style, Position on newel highway is noisy but all Forbes motels have the same issue.

Honestly everything. Rooms were gorgeous and comfy, staff were lovely and friendly. It's perfect walking distance to town

The owner is lovely, and very helpful.The room is very clean , and it’s great to have a microwave and toaster. The beds are amazingly comfortable.

The only thing I didn’t like, when I first drove in, It looked cheap and too old , I didn’t think I would have liked to stay there . It doesn’t have a lot of character, it didn’t look appealing,it needs a few native pot plants to brighten it up a little, and the noise of the trains , were annoying, But you can never judge a book by its cover, yes it is an old place, and you can’t change that. But when the owners go out their way to help you, and the room is clean , and the bed , feels like your lying on marshmallows, there is nothing more to say , I truly enjoyed my stay.

The price was great for what we got, The pool was nice to swim but could've been cleaner. The shower was lovely and relaxing.

The location is 50 metres from the freight train line, noisy neighbours and the room didn't have any bowls.
