The Ophir Hotel

was a great location.

There were guest who played music outside in the common area till 2am, requested them twice to stop but meet with no response. Both our kids could not sleep the whole night.

Location was perfect for why I chose to stay there.Staff were very attentive in relation to booking in. I was actually taken to my room.I was rung during my stay and checked on in relation to a power outage due to a damaging storm that left the Ophir without power for several hours.Meals at the restaurant were delicious.

Easy to deal with, great size room which was surprisingly quiet being on a relatively busy corner. Easy access with lots of parking. The Hotel food was excellent.

The only negative thing was the lack of a microwave. We were there for 4 nights and would have appreciated the microwave to perpare lunches for being out and about during the day

Connection to the tavern was great and proximity to restaurants and town was great; felt safe in the gated area

Great location for visiting the region. Excellent family friendly garden restaurant. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very comfy bed. Spacious room.

It’s a basic motel room. The hot water was suboptimal.

For us location great it fit into our plans the staff were very helpful and friendly

lighting is not good, lack parking spaces so that need to walk far away from building, receptions not opening in the morning, ambiguous location to find my room

No Usb charging ports, the coffee.

Spacious room but bathrooms need an upgrade (tiles have been resealed but peeling). Great staff at reception and restaurant area. Comfortable beds. Quiet room with 90s decor. Value for money on outskirts of town

It was in a great location, close to the Main Street. The bistro was convenient and the food was lovely.

Bed was comfortable, rooms were clean and roomy

Kitchen was closed for staff Christmas party the night of our stay with no prior notification but that has nothing to do with the room.

Central to food, petrol, massage, and has plenty of parking

Lawnmowing started up at 7:30am. Possibly not hotels fault.

Felt safe , the car was secure, and very handle restaurant. The situation easy to find and easy check in. Great clean eating areas

Shower had mold and the plug area in the basin was scungy.

Small room. Mould on bathroom ceiling. Grout needs cleaning. Bathroom needs renovating.

Rooms where very large there was only 4 rooms at the hotel.Meals where good So over all a great nights stayWould I stay here again without a doubt

The bathroom in room 3 had a lot of mould on the ceiling in the bathroom Scary stuff. And the hot water tap in shower needs some minor repairs Otherwise a great place to stay

The lack of bench space in the bathroom. Hate having to put my clothes and toiletry bag on the toilet lid. Would’ve liked a bedside table on both sides of the bed.

Close to the city center and very close to all major fast food shops.
