Mercure Orange

THIS WAS MY SECOND STAY AT TEMPLARS MILL AND I WAS IMPRESSED BY THE COURTESY OF STAFF AND THE ROOM'S PRESENTATION . THE TWIN ROOM WAS WELL LOCATED FOR MY 92 YEAR OLD MOTHER BEING ON THE GROUND FLOOR . THE PROXIMITY TO THE RSL CLUB IS ALSO AN ADVANTAGE

Great location for the town, nice and close to cafés and restaurants.

Nice room layout.The bed was a little firm and the eater pressure from the shower "rain" head was to low. The hand held shower attachment was fine.The wet (bath) room concept never fails to amuse me, as the floor area beyond the shower always gets soaked, requiring replacement towels.

Comfortable, modern, spacious rooms and close to centre of town.

Staff member at reception was unable to locate the booking for multiple rooms booked and created a great deal of confusion and stress on check in.

The light from outside bulbs are much disturbing during the night. Even though the screen was closed, it couldn’t shield the light. The cars in front of the door must have been parked nose in front but they were reverse parked which would blow the smoke inside the room.

The location is great. Close to shops and cafes

Not enough parking. There were two parks for EVs that no one was using but we weren’t allowed to park there when there were no other parks available. It was very noisy on Friday and Saturday night as there is a bar close by with very loud music. Was told the room was doubled glazed but clearly not as you can hear the traffic and people talking in the room next door.Had to ask to get my room serviced. No towels in the room on arrival and not enough toilet paper.

Room was a bit small but comfortable, bonus was the next door RSL and location was good.

Room was cosy and even on cold nights we didn’t need the heater. It had everything we needed.The shower was great. The bed was warm and comfortable,The ex-services club connected to the hotel was so convenient and affordable for breakfast and dinner.It was perfect and we would definitely recommend it.

Everything needed was available.

Hot water took too long to get to shower.Dust was present along timbers above bed.Didn't know if breakfast was included?Ground flood was a bit noisy.

It didn’t have onsite restaurant ,cafe etc but it was ok it was available next door at the club :)

I had a fantastic stay at Mercure Orange! The location is super convenient, right in the heart of town, with cafes, restaurants, and shops just a short walk away. The room was clean, modern, and really comfortable—great attention to detail with everything you’d expect for a relaxing stay.The staff were warm and welcoming, always happy to help with a smile. I especially appreciated how smooth the check-in and check-out process was. The on-site facilities were also a bonus, including the restaurant and bar, which made dining easy after a long day.Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Orange—whether it’s for business or leisure. I’ll definitely be back!

Really friendly staff, good location, nice facilities

The room was slightly dusty from the thick carpet, curtains etc so allergies were a little heavy

Recommendation was to go to RSL next door for meals and breakfast. Worse meal I have had in many years so that was not an option after the first time. They should not recommend such an awful place to eat.

Customer service and staff are good. Ev chargers are good too

The room could have been cleaner. We found a pair of dirty socks that wasn't even ours. The utensils provided were not cleaned properly. The coffee maker was dirty and the kettle was unclean.

Easy to park convenience to most areas of Orange very quiet not noise
