The place is run down and a little dirty. They only vacuum where the vacuum reaches, it's dusty and dirty along the walls and in between furniture. The curtains feel grimy, the carpets feel like they are stick on wallpaper, they are so flat and old. The windows need a clean. It's noisy, you can hear everything other people are doing in their rooms especially bathroom noises.

Friendly staff, great location, clean and spacious apartment, lovely pool.

Good centrally located hotel

Our room was on the top floor and the air conditioning wasn’t on when we arrived. It couldn’t quite cope with the 45 degree heatwave so was quite hot. Even when going.

Spa bath, comfortable bed- king size, staff upon checking in.

The stay wasn't value for money. The rooms need a good clean- scuff marks on walls, carpets inc aircon filters, old tv- pre smart TV. Room is of modern era however starting to feel dated.

The location was great! It was a hot day so the swimming pool was a blessing! And the air con was already on for our stay! A very nice full kitchenette with fridge, microwave and tea/coffee facilities. Walking distance to everything in town, the lady on arrival couldn’t find our booking but was lovely and efficiently found it in the end.

The moment you opened the sliding door it screeched from the dirt build up. Apartment seemed clean and presentable at first but when we decided to dine in at the room the plates and cutlery needed to be washed, which we did. Beds are very firm and no pressure in the shower at all.

Right near everything. TVs were capable to cast to.

Mould in shower Air conditioner was in the other room not near the bed so it was quite hot during the night in bed. Bed wasn’t comfortable.

Had everything we needed as a family of four and a perfect location

Quite outdated bathroom, although nice hot water and everything worked.Carpet quite stained.Curtains need replacing.

After leaving my pillow there, the staff were very helpful in holding it for us.

Two of the three air cons didn’t work properly, and one of them leaked water onto the bed below it.

The staff were lovely and the pool wA very welcome on a 40oC day.

The lift is heritage protected - which means it is out of the 1930s and not very useful. I imagine the new section’s rooms are lovely but in the old hotel section where we were it was out of The Shining - small dark rooms and noisy hallways.

Central location, comfortable room.

The restaurant next door was not as good as last time.

Location and ease of parking. Staff were lovely and helpful when we found them. And then went out of their way to help.

Very basic kitchen, no salt and pepper for example, not enough plates, cutlery pans, etc for a self-catered stay. Carpets etc a little tired and unclean. Not up to Mecure standards. Nevertheless it was fine for our one night stay.,

The hotel was clean and the room we had was a very good size with a comfortable bed.

The lift. It is heritage listed but tricky to use and rarely level with the floor.
