Darling Junction Motor Inn

There was a toaster in the room which meant we could sort out own brekky which we didn't use in prior mornings. much to the disgust of our daughter

The toilet roll holder location. (you asked)

Wouldn’t choose this location again if there were other options.

Many many extra cars in the parks leaving none for paying guests. No toiletries provided. Spider webs in rooms.

Nice size room and spacious shower for

Not enough parking when filled to capacity. Pool was full of ants

I appreciated that our late arrival was accommodated without issue and that there was an alternate driveway without height restrictions as I had a pod on the roof of my 4WD. The room was large and comfortable.

Unfortunately the cold tap in the shower didn’t work which made for a very hot shower!

Loved the location and the quietness of the place

Had ants galore the shower floor was filthy. Continuing to be bitten throughout our stay wasn't pleasurable at all

Stayed for the Local rally, location was great.

Didn’t like the online check in and coded door locks. Not easy for older people to see especially at night time, needed a torch.

Great location, comfortable bed.

I'd like a toaster and hair dryer in the room.

Check-in code sent via SMS.

No office contact. Swimming pool not working.

Good location, handy to the township.

Bathroom smelt mouldy, other guests were noisy and it sounded like they were herding elephants at all hours of the night, you could hear other guests using the toilet. Needless to say, overall, not a pleasant stay at all.

It was clean and nice

It took 30 minutes to check in. I selected to pay at property but when I arrived they said my payment had declined so they tried to take the money out before we arrived

It was convenient to facilities. It was quiet.

Didn’t like the fact we had to park out. Car across the road from the motel

Easy to get to contactless check in/out

The fact the driveway was blocked by a car parked illegally and we couldn't leave in the morning for over an hour while we waited for someone to turn up.

Good room and well presented for the price.

Much prefer to be greeted at reception by a human, who I can talk to about things like dining etc.I understand we had Covid, ‘contactless’, unfortunately I see managers and owners using those years to duck having reception manned nowadays.

Thank you - we had our own breakfast. The beds were comfortable and warm.

The traffic noise being woken up at 12.30 am by semi-trailer gears and disc brakes!

Didn’t particularly like a lot

On arrival at 11:00 pm after a six hour drive there was no hot water. We asked for this to be fixed and we’re told there was nothing they could do until the morning. The problem was fixed quickly in the morning but we felt there could have been an effort to look at the problem straight away and this could have been sorted at the time. After a day or so we realised the toilet was leaking water onto the floor of the bathroom.

Clean comfortable

Crappy shower

Clean and modern room, clean bathroom, quiet location, comfy beds. No key needed. Decided to stay another night and were able to stay in the same room.

The property is too dark outside. Difficult to see room numbers because it is too dark, not enough outside lighting.

It was clean and good shower and bed

The noise from other rooms

Location of the motel suited me.

Being placed on the 2nd storey, having to climb steep stairs did not suit me due to my old age.

Location and clear communication from staff

Lack of personal contact with any staff
