The Sundowner Cabin & Tourist Park

Cabin was spacious. Had everything that was needed to make coffee/breakfast. Facilities are basic, but as advertised. Staff were helpful and welcoming. Quiet location with good water pressure in the shower and hot water never runs out.

Main bed on the side that gets the main use (single occupancy) was a bit "tired". Lounge suite and carpet in bedroom could do with more frequent cleaning - but no issues in reality - the cabin park is "as advertised".

Very convenient to Sundowner Hotel that had very good dinning

All was good but we were expecting a cabin with kitchenette. Happy to have paid extra for this, perhaps clarity on booking website.

Floorboards in cabin were creaky so hard to sneak around at night

We stayed with dogs in a pet friendly cabin. It was annoying that the railing around the balcony didn’t have some wire or something to stop a dog jumping off like at other caravan parks. Great access to the Sundowner hotel for meals, dogs can go in the outside area which is undercover. Cabin was very clean and comfortable. Looking forward to staying again.

Each time I've stayed at different cabins this year for my clients respite weekend with her 2 little dogs I've never had a problem.

Staff are lovely the park is very clean and tidy. Beds were super comfy. Not far out of town and from the Whyalla Jetty. I’ll be recommending to friends and family.

Easy to find staff friendly but not informed about why one room may be more comfortable than others

Bathroom has dead flys and bugs in bathroom as well as spiders and spiderwebs. Bed was budget not comfortable. All furniture was basic not comfortable

Quiet and easily accessible. Having the hotel literally next door with fabulous restaurant was a bonus. Highly recommend.

Room was hot and stuffy when first arrived

We found the amenities and cabin very good. All were maintained and kept clean to a high standard. We had an issue with the shower which was rectified straight away. we found all the staff very friendly and polite. Most of all the upgrade we received showed us that management cares for his customers. Thank you all very much Terry and Carmel.

We have stayed in several cabins over the years and this one is great value for money--Modern -Spacious-Very comfortable beds -Great location

Light did not work in bedroom, no pool.

Pet friendly. Check in and out was speedy. Staff were friendly. The cabin was spacious & clean, bed rooms were large, bathroom is good, beds were big & comfortable, AC worked great and TV was adequate. Kitchen was reasonably equipped and parking is right in front of the cabin. There's a pub and hotel next door. Good place for a base to visit the surrounding areas!

No complaints really..... maybe the sofas could be steam cleaned (stains)?

Location of the property is excellent and the facilities are great. Good size rooms and the lounge/dining is a great size. Ideal for family and groups.

Shower enclosure floor was extremely slippery and no shelves or vanity for toiletries.

The cabin was very spacious and clean. The block out fixtures were a great touch. The cabin was was stocked with cutlery, crockery, fridge and the lounge suit was comfortable. The communal laundry was a great help to us as travellers.

The location. On the main road. The park could do with a pool or something inviting.
