Pros +
- Room was suitable for my needs
- Room was generally comfotable
- The room was large and airy, the bed was comfortable. Having a microwave was also very good to see.
Cons -
- The food in the dining room is great but the service can be a little comedic at times. Having to wait and be seated at breakfast when the room is empty. Being handed a dinner menu at breakfast and have to wait to get a breakfast menu. Cup of tea taking as long to prepare as the cooked breakfast. Ordered room services for dinner and the person taking the order didn't know what was on the menu. To name a few....
- In stayed in an executive room which I would assume was named such because guests may stay there while on business. However the powerpoints are not located anywhere near where one would sit to use their laptop. There is no accessible powerpoint bedside without having to drag the night stand away from the wall and then unplug the lamp to gain access. The in-room phone didn't work.
- The windows in the unit did not open and it was stuffy, we contacted the staff but they said the window was permanently closed, so we had to sleep with the door open on the chain.

Close to the highway we had a ground floor so could unpack our car easily. The restaurant was great.
The Standpipe was by far our best stay travelling from West Australia to Victoria. The place was spotless and comfortable, and the meals at the restaurant were exceptional. Will definitely stay there on our way back.
This was just an overnight stay on our road trip. Being a golf course, the surrounds were relaxing and quiet, except when people were walking on the stone carpark from 5:30am. It was great having the nice restaurant on site.

Clean motel with comfortable bed and hot shower.
Bit of truck noise from the highway.
It’s calm and serene. It has a swimming pool for those who like. It has one of the best restaurants in SA and makes your stay the best , loved the hospitality, dinner and breakfast. We could stay for few days doing nothing.
TV could have better channels Room could have some books n better wifi
Clean, friendly staff, food is amazing
The room was spacious and the restaurant was excellent.
It was a shame the electricity went out in the area during the night. Nothing the proprietors could do about that but we still enjoyed our stay.
Restaurante Indian food very good
Room very outdated and acoustic screening with neighbouring room poor
Great location on north edge of town next to the golf club.
Parking on upper floor didn't get an assigned space. Had to park on dirt next to golf course.
Clean, tidy, quiet, roomy, great shower.Restaurant really good, service very friendly.
Clean, comfortable bed. Friendly staff.
We arrived 1/2 early after a 500k journey only to have the reception staff ask us what time it was and we were early ?The meal staff were not friendly. We were happy to go the next day.

Location and good stop over for long drive.
Room was smelling of cigarettes. Bathroom needs upgrading.
It was clean, comfortable and the food at their restaurant was delicious.
