Pros +
- A comfortable hotel with knowledgeable, helpful and friendly staff.
- Close to the airport.
- theft and dishonest behavior from all the staff
Cons -
- The food was fine, but barely any African dishes.
- Pool was under construction, but I was told they had one and there were young girls being offered to male guests, in the evenings, which was not appropriate. I was sad for the girls.
- Our experience at this hotel was absolutely dreadful, marked by theft and dishonest behavior.•A brand-new travel mosquito net, purchased just two weeks before our stay and never used, was “thrown away” by the housekeeping staff under the pretext that it was in poor condition. Despite contacting the hotel promptly after leaving, we received no clear response. We had to return in person, where staff admitted to discarding it, all while being rude and confrontational.•At the restaurant, we were asked to pay under the table $20 for a simple plate of pineapple, with the excuse that it was “not on the menu.” This is an unacceptable and unethical practice. •Worst of all, the management showed complete dishonesty by asking us to send a message confirming that we had been refunded, promising to issue the refund afterward. Unsurprisingly, no refund was ever made. This hotel demonstrates appalling management, zero professionalism, and blatant disrespect for its guests. We strongly advise against staying here to avoid such a disappointing and shocking experience.

Breakfast was great, nice cappuccino, great view by the pool.I loved the fact that in addition to the regular menu, there was also local food ("plasas") available.Staff and management were very friendly. Reception (e.g. Hakim) staff always ready to facilitate the stay.
Everything
I didn't like that I couldn't choose to eat breakfast in my room however I made it known and I was granted an exception. Part of providing excellent customer care is to adapt based on your Guests individual need. I was traveling with my 5months old infant, holding him and eating does not go together because he is at that stage where he touches and plays with everything. Anyway it ended up to be a great experience
Very nice property. Room and bathroom were maculate. Staff was terrific. Small issue with the pickup shuttle for the 4AM boat. They had one of their security people take me directly. Great food at the restaurant, did not have an opportunity to have breakfast.
THE STAFFS ARE FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL PARTICULAR ME HAKIM AT THE FRONT DESK, THE SECURITIES GUARD ARE EXCELLENT. NOT FORGET THE STAFFS AT THE RESTUARANT, JOSEPH ONE OF THE WAITER IS MY BEST GUY. I WILL RECOMMEND ANYONE TO VISIT HOME SUITE HOTEL AT ARBERDEEN THE WILL NOT REGRET THE VALUE FOR THEIR MONEY
I LIKE EVERYTHING DURING MY STAYS
the hotel is located close to the beach front and easily accessible. very friendly staff. overall enjoyed my stay.
Comfy furniture and generally good service. Very nice and soft pillows. Very nice buffet for breakfast. Pleasant staff.
Found items on the menu unavailable a few times. Once my order was forgotten and there was no record of my order when i called back to check (had to reorder). The cleaning team did not check with me for cleaning when they knew we were in the room, but they cleaned when they knew we were not in the room.
The hotel was very clean and conveniently located. The shuttle service from the airport was helpful. There are restaurants within walking distance, and the area felt safe to walk around at night. The front desk staff were knowledgeable about the local shops and assisted us well.
The restaurant inside the hotel was clean, bright, and had delicious food. However, there was a minor issue with insects, which might be more of a personal sensitivity on my part. The food was still very tasty.
Location, staffs member, Almost reliable internet, air conditioner
Great hotel staff, very clean, facilities, and restaurant. Recommended!!
limited options for kids but not applicable to everyone
They were very nice, accommodating and friendly. Great facilities and very clean.
The only positivity I could mention as that nothing was stolen from us which unfortunatelly happened to many of our friends who stayed in Radisson Blue, Freetown (even from the safe in the rooms).
On our arrival we have been redirected to an other hotel (Hotel Bintu Mani) where we could stay in a very poor quality room having cockroaches in it. For the money we had to pay it was simply ridiculous, the price was almost the same as in a 5 star hotel in Marocco.
Breakfast was great. Staff very friendly and helpful. It was my third time coming back, and it consistently maintains its good standards.
Everything was good.
- friendly staff- they have cold and hot water in the shower - tidy and spacious room- food is really nice (breakfast and lunch/dinner)- room service was pretty quick
- could do better sound proofing but luckily their club closes at 1am- pool is a bit small and water looked a bit cloudy (not dirty though) - wifi was a bit flaky.
Helpful front desk staff. Pleasant restaurant setting. Good breakfast buffet. Clean comfortable room with good size bathroom. Safe, Kettle for heating water, Fridge, Aircondition. Adequately equipped gym.Good safely features (door and parking area staff)Good room cleaning staff
No coffee at breakfast (Nescafe!!!Poor quality machine-made coffee onnrequest). Staff pleasant but rather hapless in restaurant. Not pro-active or preparing when items have run out. Corridors extremely warm (aircon never on), very noisy tiled corridor with guests slamming doors night time. Pool very small and not inviting (although seems to be clean). No coffee machine in rooms
Very professional and helpful staff. Excellent restaurant. The entire room was really comfortable. The safe in the room actually worked. The hotel is partnered with the SeaCoach Express airport boat, which has wonderful hard-working people wearing bright orange shirts. Absolutely recommended.
I liked the location of the hot how close it was to the beach. At night is was pretty calm and this made it easier for me to fall asleep. I also love how clean the hotel was, the staff cleaned althroughout the day.
It was super expensive, more expensive than 5 star hotels in the U.S. which was insane to.me.
The rooms are comfortable, and the hotel is one of the nicest in Freetown. The restaurant is very good.
They use poor exchange rates to convert currencies, which makes certain things more expensive than they are supposed to be. My room was priced in dollars online, but on site they priced it in Leones and charged my credit card in Leones at a rate that was $20 a night more expensive than I was supposed to pay. If breakfast isn’t included in your rate, they will charge that in dollars, but use a conversion to Leones that is, again, more expensive than they say. Also, the gym is well-equipped, but several of the machines are not working properly.
