Pros +
- Appreciated the kitchenette so I could make snacks and drinks. The pool was beautiful. Layout impressive. Food very good. Room service swift.
- Helpful staff, they let us do early check.Beautiful room, very clean and tidy.
- The staff is awesome. The pool rivals the best of any Western hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The location is perfect for a quick trip to the beach, restaurants and night clubs.
Cons -
- The hotel would benefit from a proper reception desk and a trained concierge.
- The room service menu didn't work with an international phone number.
- We weren't necessarily bothered by the construction work taking place. But worth noting that hotel is still expanding and you could see building work taking place especially from pool area. The construction was not disturbing at all. We didn't hear any of the construction noise in our room or when out and about, but you could see people working. The hotel did have a few powercuts (which is common in the country). However, backup power kicked in quickly, so we were never in the dark.

This is my 5th or 6th time at this property and each time, the staff outperforms the previous visit. Today was the same. Everyone on site is helpful and responsive and the property is kept in immaculate condition. The pool is amazing and the food was great.
The food is excellent, the rooms are clean and the team is professional. The location offers a superb panoramic view. The Lead is the best so far..
The staff were professional and friendly, thr property was having some work done but it was very clean and well kept.
The room service menu didn't work with an international phone number.
The hotel was exceptional.Firstly, we have to commend the staff, from reception, security, restaurant staff, staff by the pool, domestic staff. Everyone we came across was friendly, professional, and courteous. We couldn't fault them at all.The room...We stayed in an executive suite, it was spacious, well decorated and modern.Having travelled from the UK, it had a home away from home feel about it.Inside the room, there was a lovely open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area with a comfy sofa and a good size TV.The kitchen had plenty of cupboard space, a hob, sink, a full-size fridge, a coffee machine with a couple of coffee pods, and a washing machine. Outside of the room, there was a terrace area which also adjoined the bedroom. I love to sit outside as the sun comes up and drink my coffee. The hotel also has an on-site restaurant and a lovely poor area with a poolside bar. The hotel provided pool towels, plenty of sunbeds, and umbrellas. The place also generally felt safe. There was enough staff around to tend to our needs. We loved our stay and would recommend staying for at least a week.

Beautiful and relaxing place and quite central. Feels like home from home.
Housekeeping to early and felt pestered even with ‘do not disturb sign’
Great location in Freetown with a long pool to do proper laps. Food was great and the rooms were huge. Great white back drop with lots of pink flowers
Please keep the pool bar open beyond 7pm so we can enjoy the evening outside around the pool
Brand new hotel, good rooms, nice restaurant, friendly and helpful staff
Staff, room, food, and unbelievable timely laundry service. Handed laundry at 8pm, and it was back, wrapped and folded, at 10pm while I was still at dinner. Best service ever!
Nothing to criticize
The lead is simply the best hotel in Freetown,
The friendliness of the Reception and how reasonable the staff are.great service
I so much like the environment and also the Receptionist were so quick to fix issue ,friendly staff and I will definitely come back.
The hotel is not fully open yet but this does not distract from the high standards of accommodation or the dining and relaxing facilities offered. We had an executive suite overlooking the pool with a view over Man of War Bay beyond. Both the lounge/dining room and the bedroom were very large and extremely well decorated. A large picture window overlooked the pool and could be partially opened. Aircon was most effective. The pool area was extremely well maintained and the water was just the right temperature to make it easy to enter but also to provide relieve from the heat. The rooftop restaurant provided both indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outside as the evening temperature was just right at about 22c.There was a very good choice of food served by very friendly waiters.
Arriving at the hotel was like entering an oasis after being picked up by the hotel’s driver from the port. The grounds are stunning! The staff are kind, warm and polite. My suite was spacious, immaculate and had the best view of the pool and the bay. It had all the amenities one needs. I really can’t fault this hotel. It made my stay. I will always stay here from now.Thank you for having me.
Small suggestion of maybe serving some local Sierra Leonean dishes at the restaurant. Everything else was perfect.
Great swimming pool. Tastefully and well furnished rooms. Good views across the bay. Excellent location.
Very little to fault.
Amazing hotel! Wonderful huge rooms, clean and huge swimming pool, comfortable and well equipped fitness center, tasty food at the restaurant and even room service! Thank you very much Mr Allen for creating an oasis of absolute comfort and civilization!
Breakfast should be served to rooms. It’s ok at extra price but not everyone is prepared to go to the restaurant every morning.
Like the Manager Alain - very professional and make you feel heard. Also responsive, he asked for feedback, which was refreshing
I like everything
