It was clean and a good location for what I wanted.

I couldn't get Sky on the tv even though it advertises you can.

Proximity to family that live in Hastings and Splash Planet

The pool wasn’t open on check in day . Was looking forward to a swim after our 6hr drive to Hastings

Was close to the shops and splash planet, they left us alone to do our thing

The pool wasn't ready for use when we got there whi h was a bummer as we had a big group with a lot of kids

Easy to book and cost competitive, pool was good

Bathroom was dated and towels were worn and discoloured, no shampoo and conditioner; lots of noise from adjoining rooms; outside patio wasn't clean; never had to clean dishes as part of a stay

It was close to splash planet and staff was very friendly

The place didn't feel that clean, the carpet had a tacky texture and was a bit sticky

The location was perfect for us next to splash planet the main reason we came. Reception was 100% friendly and helpful. Everything was 100% there is nothing more you can say than that. I accidentally left my taonga in the room and the cleaner had identified and isolated for me to collect.

I wish we could have stayed longer

Staff were friendly. Office open late for check in.

Room was in poor condition. Marketed as a family room but wasn't suitable for young children. Electrical sockets and phone in reach of small children. One Electrical socket in particular was broken, it looked as if it had blown, and just had cellotape covering it. Weird smell in bathroom. Stains in carpets and couch. Toilet roll dispenser broke as soon as touched. One window in bathroom doesnt have a latch, so its free to open and enter from outside. Bathroom door handle very loose to the point its about to fall off. Kitchen tap is so worn it sprays at you while using it.

Couldn't open the main door from the inside. Maintenance person was not available to make repair immediately. Was a safety concern if we needed to exit the unit in a hurry.

no air condition to upstairs, it was very hot overnight

Great that it was away feom the road, nice and quiet

Bathroom could do with a good clean, itherwise everything else was tiduy

Location was good within walking distance to restaurants.

Bathroom - heated towel rail screw fell out, toilet cistern was loose and top came off each time flushed, had one shower on Saturday morning then no more hot water for two hours, clean towels on Sunday had black marks on them, generally bathroom needed a good clean and overhaul.Lounge - net curtains didnt match and when pulled across either didnt meet in the middle or if you pulled them closed in the middle the ends weren’t covered, mat in from of ranch slider covered big hole in carpet either carpet tacks sticking up, sat in chair underneath the heat pump and either sandflies or fleas jumped all over my legs. Room was like a furnace when we arrived could have been opened up prior. Could have done with a good clean.Couldn’t work tv no matter how hard we tried!

The free wifi isn't that stable, sometimes the connection is poor. The spa in our bathroom doesn't work.

It was old, bed was very hard, fridge wasn’t keeping things cold

It wasn’t very clean. Towel’s had stains, hole in pillowcase, the tv wasn’t working ect.

Disappointing

It was very old and run down. Both reception and the room had an odor. It was expensive for such a low grade place to stay, you can stay in really nice up to date hotels in central Auckland for less money per night. Would never stay there again.

Good value for money.. Comfortable rooms .Swimming pool was clean, excellent standards. Highly recommend, great staff and great service

White towels had yellow stains. Faulty power outlet should have been replaced.

The breakfast was excellent. We enjoyed the pool and location. The unit offered everything we needed for a short stay. Very comfortable beds.

It’s a little tired and could use some maintenance to bring it to a higher level. Our door stuck very badly and was difficult to open. The bathroom could use a refresh.
