Very large room with ocean views.Loved the large kitchen it had everything we needed to cook dinner. It’s not walking distance to the main part of Napier but still a great location. Across the road from the beach and walking distance to a quirky little coffee shop operating outside the pool from an retro bus.

We weren’t able to use the laundry facilities as we checked in too late. Pool out of use.

Probably not as flash as the photos on booking.com, but nice all the same, it was clean n tidy and had everything that you would expect of a motel room except sky tv

Yup it had a beach front but of the harbour but 200mtrs the opposite way to open sea beach

The location is good, easy access to town and the waterfront.

The swimming pool was not available for us to use. The whole area needs a bit of renovation, it’s looking a bit tired.

Location to the beach. Indian restaurant right next door was amazing!

We booked 3 rooms and 1 larger room as we were travelling with a Group 4 couplesAll complained about the shower, the noisey internal extractor fan that only came on with the light, anyone going to the loo in the middle of the night- woke up their partner.The big room had a shower over a spa bath - there is a massive safety issue with this, no non slip mats. no handle grips to hold on too very dangerours for any guest. The kitchen cupboards has the bare essenstials. Very old blow dryer attachment on the bathroom wall. Toilet seat loose. Swimming pool out of action it was nearly 30 degrees in the Hawkes Bay

The bed was that hard might as well slept on the floor. The room wasn't too clean especially the bathroom there was mould and fat scum in places the carpet in the room hadn't been vacuumed in awhile booked a room with a spa dont get one when we arrived I thought we were in the wrong location it doesn't look as nice as the pictures look I have no idea where the 4 star rating comes from would not return or recommend

Loved the location. Quiet then short walk to beach

Look of mould. No air circulation in bathroom. No broom or brush and pan.

Internet was crap just about non existent,no TV in main bedroom swimming pool was out of action.

The spa bath worked.

The room was very tired and is in need of an update. The standard of furnishings and decoration was poor. The bed was uncomfortable, the wifif was unreliable and the swimming pool was out of order and couldn't be used. We expected a sea view room but we're on the main road with heavy traffic noise.

Tidy and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and accommodating

The room had a faint odour of wet dog. The unit next door had music on until 5am

We asked for kitchenette. We got a kettle, toaster and a frying pan. Wifi didn't work till I complained. Then I never had a problem. If wifi is advertised make sure it works properly. That is included in our hotel rate.

Lady at reception was very helpful. The room was clean, but it’s old and cream/beige colours so it doesn’t look clean. Carpets were damp. The room didnt smell great, but smokers outside the room next door meant we couldn’t open our windows/doors.

A real shame the pool wasn’t available, as that was the only reason I chose that motel. No discount was offered, despite the venue not being able to provide the services advertised.

Friendly staff, location and the room was big enough to accommodate beddings for 2 adult and 3 kids & still plenty of space to move around.

It definitely needs a makeover to make it competitive in the market, it looked old.

Shower had good water pressure.Nice little kitchenette.

Main bedroom mattress on bed was heavily stained and covered up with a Mattress protector.old and lumpy.Was raining throughout the night,where the downpipe outside bedroom window kept me up all night,when I looked at it the next mrning it looked old and in despair.Felt unsafe with the back door where it only had a small slide along old lock on it.Swimming pool was not in use but I did gta call before checkin to advise if I still wanted to book

Room was clean and tidy, nice and quite. beds were firmer than I like but I still had a good sleep. Water pressure great and hot. Bathroom was a good size for the 4 of us.

I booked this accommodation because it has a pool for the kids. We arrived and we're told the pool.was out of action, not been working for oiver 2 weeks,we were.not informed earlier l, if I was i would have booked elsewhere. We were given the opportunity to cancel booking on the spot but I had no choice but to continue with our stay there as everywhere was booked( long weekend for wellington anniversary)There was only 1 big pot to cook with for a family of 4, and no mixing bowls , I had to ask for another pot to cook with but she could only find a fry pan. The kitchen was definitely not fully equipped for a family unit.

The ocean was so close. The bay was on the opposite side of the motel. Has a stove top
