Room needs an upgrade. Peeling wallpaper, shower rail loose and leaking, old patches to the spa bath - not appealing at all, window sill in bathroom peeling paint - poor repair job replacing part sill, sharp exposed screws to access panel front of bath - could undo one with fingers - risk of getting cut, holes in tiles where toilet roll holder moved, faded curtains, re-useable milk bottles - some part empty were sitting on the reception desk on arrival - makes me think what am i getting maybe some leftover from another guest. Telephone old and faded - buy new ones. Missing cover plate to power outlet, TV control worn and couldnt see a lot of the symbols. The room cost expensive by comparison to other motels and not value for money considering the part run down standard of the room

Neighbors partied till 1.00am (stereo base) not too loud but a bit annoying didn't interrupt my sleeping though

My friend and I had to wash our feet before we went to bed each night as I think that carpet could be cleaned. The TV in room 6 could be a bit larger.

The room was big, clean and quiet

The unit was comfortable and quiet. It was very well equipped with plenty of tea and coffee

It is a little dated but this doesn't take away from the comfort and cleanliness

Location was perfect. Close to shops. Nice pool. Room was good, spacious, comfortable, had everything you needed. Lots of carparks right outside room and on road. Good accommodation for any group types of people visiting - families, friends, couples etc.

The only downfall was that our room sliding door was jammed/stuck most of the time, which was quite annoying going in and out. We literally had to lift and slide the door a certain way for it to open/close each time, sometimes needing two of us to do it together. The door also struggled to lock. Hope this can be fixed for the next guests.

Everything was great from the service with a smile at reception when we arrived to our surprise upgraded room which was excellent, spacious and clean and on the day of leaving we asked for a late checkout and they were so hospitable to our needs. The spa bath was a bonus that our kids loved and the pool was awesome and was so clean. The cleaning staff were so polite and hospitable. The price was great. There is a washer and dryer if you ever need and close to everything. Yes in the room we had it was a little dated but it was clean and we had everything we needed. They even came through after our first night as we stayed 2 nights and took our rubbish out, tidied a little and changed our towels. Would absolutely recommend and would stay here again. Thank yous

The parking was a little tight but nothing you can’t work around

Well equipped with all we needed for an overnight stay. Air con a bonus. Comfy beds and lots of hot water. Older motel refurbished well.

Noise from neighbouring unit plus air con emitted a clunking noise all through the night when we turned it off.

The welcome, swimming pool, location for our visit and the room was just right for our whanau

We loved the size of the unit. We asked for 2 bedrooms and we got that with a large bathroom and lounge. It was extremely clean and warm, with our towels changed daily and beds made. We enjoyed our stay and wish it could have been longer. Our host kindly left our keys in a lock box as we got there after hours but gave us a courtesy call to make sure we were OK and where the key is. Fantastic stay and host.

Nice location, big bath, spacious apartment.

Rooms we got were different than those in the pictures (not renovated).Room was not ready by 2pm.Found hair in the bathtub.The door lock was broken, it was impossible to lock the apartment.Spa bath didn't work (we chose this motel only because of it).We reached out to management, but nothing was offered as compensation for not getting what was advertised other than an apology. We think a partial refund would've been fair.

Staff were friendly. Room was a good size. Parking right outside the room.

We were originally allocated a Queen Studio but we had paid and booked a One bedroom unit. They then offered us a one bedroom unit buy the pool but not within the courtyard, which was ok. All courtyard rooms were full. It did mean more road noise as Kennedy road is a main road. Other small differences to what we had originally pirchased were, The shower was not separate from the bath. No DVD Player, No Seperate toilet and no welcome chocolates. Atleast they could still offer us a room, but someone else had been allocated to the room we had paid for.

Location. Host was accommodating. Spacious studio.

Staff were wonderful and friendly. Pool was great to use, although some of the chairs around it were unusable. Unit was a perfect size, very clean.

Beds were too firm and not comfortable for sleeping- but they were very clean and looked inviting.

First impression was a nice room. Aircon and ceiling fan was great! Presentable and tidy looking. I think the booking advises no smoking however they had ashtrays provided on tables outside which was awesome for us as smokers lol

The ensuite bathroom was dirty, floors didn't look mopped, dirt stains in crevices of tiling, toilet didn't flush too well and at some stage it was blocked twice, due to flushing pressure? However the MAIN issue was that, at night time when we arrived back at our room we had an army of ANTS crawling all over the floor, bathroom walls, mirror edges and shower surroundings. No one answered at reception during the night which was disappointing as someone should be on call 24/7.Took short clips and showed reception before check out, he just apologised and nothing further. No reimbursement or partial reimbursement for what we experienced even when we showed the clips as evidence.In addition we also advised the reception, that we had NO body wash in our shower which was also sad. Our room looked really nice, it just felt like the cleanliness of the bathroom was not to your average standard, especially the floors and the homecoming of ants. By the morning, the army of ants had gone but it looks like it's a daily issue and they come out only at night time - imagine having a spa and you've got all these creepy crawlies in the vicinity - gross!Another couple negatives - they don't allow travellers to cook seafood in the rooms and you could be charged for the smell, which is a bit hectic in all honesty lol cant remember the fee charged otherwise.And if the smoke alarms go off (for whatever reasons) - they are to charge $200+ to your room account, if it is set off. Other than what is mentioned above, it was aesthetically OK.
