For being such a cheap place to stay, I would highly recommend it. We had a private room with our own bathroom so it was close to staying in a hotel. It's within walking distance to all the restaurants and bars. I would stay here again.

I have nothing negative other than our shower didn't drain very fast. Overall it was a nice place

Just o e recommendation. We are arrived late and had to do self check in - easy to do. However, the hallway leading up to the door is very dimly lit and it hard to see and if I were a single woman it feels a little unsafe. We had no problems with safety just would recommend a little better light - thks

Everything was how it should be in a hostel

The room I stayed comes with air conditioning so I could control the room temperature. The toilets and showers for the room was pretty clean and well maintained. Kitchen was closed to the room so easy to access and lounge room has TV and we could enjoy Netflix there.

There are 4 shower booth for the level I stayed which was good enough while I was staying however 2 of them was easily blocked the drain quickly so couldn't shower properly. The room I stay doesn't have a window so whoever need some fresh air may not the best choice. We choose air conditioning over the window though. Overall good place.

Close to the city center, spacious kitchen, big communal bathrooms.

Not enough toilets and the rooms were very narrow, so there was not enough space for bags when the room was full. Additionally, there are no power sockets by the bed.

Guy that checked us in was an absolute joy. His energy was super refreshing and nice, compliments to him for being a ball of sunshine. Hotel has a cool bouldering hall. It’s an hostel and has many common rooms to prepare meals or chat with fellow travelers. Loads of activities that they recommend or offer discounts for.

Nothing spectacular about the rooms, but it has what you need. Nothing to do with the hostel, but if you’re in Rotorua, be prepared to smell the scent of boiled eggs everywhere because of the hot springs ;)

Clean, easy to find, ramps were nice, very few stairs. We stayed in a private room with bathroom.

We stayed on the second level, Room 7, and the kitchen, toilets, and bathrooms were very handy and clean. Location is perfect for everything.

Not many elements in kitchen worked properly; bathrooms really needed cleaning twice a day given the number of people using them; guests gathering in hallways meant noisy bedrooms.

The bathrooms were not really clean most of the time.It can get very noisy because walls seem to be very thin and you can hear everything happening on the floor etc.

Clear instructions on how to manage oneself eg in the kitchen

The arrangement of the beds in room 109 were such that the other 2 people took up the entire space, I only could use the surface of my bed; also the showers were antiquated = no where to put one's dry things, the entire 1sq meter of area got soaked of course
