Staff was great, location very central, I liked the possibility to airdry my clothes and the well equipped kitchen.

Did not like that the rubbish bin was not cleared upon my arrival and never was during my stay. And the fitness centre nextdoors it very loud especially in the mornings.

Great location, facilities were clean and the kitchen was well stocked!

Some of the mattresses were quite thin, there weren’t that many power points in the dorm room, especially not near bunk beds, so that could be improved. It was very hot, because the heating couldn’t be turned off, and there were no fans or air con, so had difficulty sleeping.

Good location, that's all.

Kitchen had a weird smell, beds are almost on top of each other, staff not keen on helping or explaining anything. Won't be back.

Can't really say I would...

I guess it's alright but I didn't feel very comfortable with the cleaning. Some smell is expected from the town but the kitchen smelled really bad. The staff was fine, don't be too hard on them. Not many other backpackers there.

The hostel was a short walk from the bus station and iSite. The dorms had single beds instead of bunks. It was clean and tidy with good kitchen, lounge and dining area.

Close to the city center, free parking on the lot.

Wasn't very clean, bathroom has lots of mold on the ceiling, on the walls and inside the shower cabin. The sheets were clean, but the mattres was horrible, there where large stains all over it

It’s a bit run down and tatty feeling. It was very empty when we were there, only a few other people. That made it easy to use the kitchen and showers but was strange.

All the dorms had single beds instead of bunks, making it easier and more comfortable, and not having to climb up to a top bunk. The hostel is a short walk from the iSite, bus station and central shops.

Room was as expected from photos, and the kitchen worked well. Lovely hot water in the shower.

Only 2 fridges for the guests - we had some food removed for a time because another guest prioritized their stuff. Also, just for other guests to note, there is a CrossFit gym nearby that plays music early in the morning - so if you are an early bird, no worries, if not - bring some earplugs as that may help

Bed was comfy & I had my own socket for charging.

Wifi is poor, the gym next door plays loud music early in the morning, and there is $20 bond (cash only) for room key. People in my dorm didn’t get a key because they were checking out early, so the door had to stay unlocked all night for them.

The beds were comfortable and in a good location for intercity bus stop and food options

My bus was at 7:40 am. Reception didn’t open until 8am. I had to hand my key into reception at 8pm the night before to get my deposit back. This was really inconvenient as anytime I wanted to leave the room I had to either leave it unlocked or hope that someone was in to let me back in. I don’t think it’s asking too much for a system where people can check out earlier than 8am. The whole place also had a really strong egg sulphur smell. Which was strange as I didn’t think the area outside had that bad of a smell. The whole place could also do with some tlc. Quite run down especially for the price. The people in my room were also really weird! I know this isn’t the hostels fault. But I felt really uncomfortable there!

Lovely and warm our room and nice and big ended up having to change to a 6 bed room.

Wasn't clean under all the beds, my children went to move some of the beds and there were alot of rubbish it wasn't vacuumed just hiddenSomeone needs to check the cleaner not good.

Friendly staff. The room was clean. We just needed the room to sleep. We were out all day, so it suited us for what we needed. We didn't need to use the kitchen. The shared bathroom and toilets were fine.

I like room being very warm while in this winter. I like closer to everything to walk.

I don't like the smell of smoking. Have to Pay $2 for a towel each? Other backpackers provides towels

Proper nice single beds instead of bunk beds (experience enhanced as only 1 or 2 persons sharing in 6 bed units). Nice geothermal central heading and views out. Locatuon is perfect for downtown buses abd hot pool access.Friendly staff and other guests, Very relaxed.Can opener was broken (not useable), left note and on my return a few days later, a brend new one - Thanks!

Nothing much you can do about, but very close by is one of the new style exercise gyms with very loud music at DAWN . Quite intrusive!l
