Silver Fern Rotorua Suites & Spa

Very clean and was only 2 mins drive to where our conference was. Will go back and stay next time I am back in Rotorua.

Hotel was above and beyond my expectations.

Everything is lovely. It gave me a feeling of warmness. Staff is friendly. Location is good. Not too many people there and have space to park.

Wonderful hosts, wonderful hot tub, great room.

Clean and cosy. close to the city center. Staff helped with some of the sight seeing by giving recommendations.

Stay at the room at secend floor, a total waste of time and a terrible experience. I was trying to dry my hair late at night, but the bathroom sockets were dead. I spent a lot of time trying to figure out if the hair dryer was broken, only to realize the outlet had no power and no reset button. It seems there were no staff on duty after hours. This is poor maintenance, and the lack of support is unacceptable. Definitely not recommended

We enjoyed everything. The staff were very friendly, spa tub was nice, and beds were great.

WiFi dropped out at around 10pm.

The staff were lovely, and the free washing machine and the spa inside of the room.

The very small TV, it was hard to enjoy a movie as the TV is so far away and is really small, we couldn't really have a movie night

A window had broken lock and couldn’t shut it at night so little bit unsafe I thought Basic but had all the necessary gear

The wifi didnt work in the bedroom which was a shame.

Nothing. Just location

No cleanliness, there were yellow stains on the towels and blanket, the duvet was worn out! Felt like it was just a duvet cover. There were spider webs every where and mold in the bathroom and drains. The whole time the meter in the room was ticking, and could even hear the tap turning on, people talking and kids crying in the neighbour room. Tv was really tiny, and we couldn’t access YouTube or Netflix. Had to leave early in the morning cuz we couldn’t sleep at all. Overpriced, wouldn’t even pay 150. Wasn’t near to what the pictures they have shown for advertising.

Location was great for where we needed to be

I have always thought highly of this property but have found over the years the standard keeps dropping. The outside spa pool area looked like there was mould growing on the inside roof. Had a damp and wet smell through the room. The bed felt like it was also broken. For the priced paid would have expected higher standards

Spacious lounge, excellent staff, handy location.

Lighting in the lounge/kitchen was either too bright or too dim, a dimmer in the lounge will be ideal.

Hot tub is inside the room so totally private. Was given same room we had last time we stayed.
