Lake Lodge Motel Rotorua

The room was very comfortable and very clean. Good location to town and the lake front. Loved the defined lounge area with the TV positioned low down. The bed was very comfy. Nice to have a kitchen with bench top elements. The shower and toilet-excellent.

During the night we were awoken by the sound of water running. We were thought it was the toilet cistern or the fan in the bathroom but it wasn't. The room was next to the laundry, so whether there was something running in there we don't know.

Lovely clean and well equipped apartment with view over the lake as described. The staff were brilliant and happy to help with an early check-in. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything... the location and the friendliness of staff, they couldn't be more helpful. We were there for Tarawera Ultra run and it was the perfect location for everything.

At $260 a night I would have expected Sky tv, moccona coffee. It really annoys me that you raise prices when there are events on.I felt pretty ripped off for that price tbh, however it was very clean and great staff.

An incredible location, with a beautiful outlook to the lake. Easy walk to eat street and the new hot pools just along the boardwalk. Rooms feel fresh and well looked after, unlike most motels. Lovely staff and plenty of car parking off the street.

The pool was beautiful but needed to be debugged and checked for chlorine levels.

From check in, the man at the desk was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The room was awesome, just what we needed and the beds were sooo comfy.

Carparking is awkward if it's really busy.

Excellent location, gave us an early check in which was much appreciated. Comfy bed, good WiFi, wardrobe, iron and ironing board.

Central lication, apartment was clean and modern. Front desk service was just the best, the welcome was warm and friendly. I highly recommend and look forward to staying again.

It was an exceptionally warm day and the room. was quite hot. There is no aircon or fan system in the room.

It was clean. Owner at first said l didn't book the room that l believed l had until l showed him the Booking from Booking. com.Then he changed his attitude and blamed B...com

He didn't have the room l booked saying that it was booking .com fault. He gave us a friend's room.l was disappointed

Liked the superb location at the lakefront right oppposite the playground; we booked for that reason and also because they offered family rooms (we booked a one-bedroom apartment with a double bed, a single bed and a sofa bed). Room was well cleaned, bed was comfortable although the sofa bed was a little bit hard. Bathroom was spacious and had good shower pressure. Staff at check in was very friendly and helpful and guided us on how to operate the guest laundry.

Tv reception not good, signal went off at times. Lighting in the room could be better. Could hear street noise outside, if you’re a light sleeper that could be a problem.

We stayed in an upstairs road facing unit. Above average size for price. Clean and comfortable. Nice to wake up to blue skies, an unimpeded view of Lake Rotorua/Mokoia Island, and to see a hive of people/families enjoying the lake front playground, heading to eat street or getting in their daily workouts. Made use of the coffee cart outside the lodge driveway and headed off for a late breakfast just a hop, skip and jump away.

Unfortunately, a passing comment from the manager did leave a sour taste but it wouldn't be enough to deter me from booking this lodge again if the situation arises.

Close location to lake and town.

Not what was advertised. Door blinds semi broken. A cockroach crawled on my wife in middle of night in bed. Woke up with her freaking out. Managed to kill it. Saw under the couches there were leftover food (from previous renters) not vacuumed by housekeeping. Wife was afraid to use the teapot kettle as it looked dirty. The shower regulating temperature was so touchy, it was either a colder shower or too hot. And, my daughters’ adjacent room, she said there was blood stains on her sheets in bed.
