Devonwood Motel

Good location, clean room, and friendly staff.

Clean room, comfy beds, had what you needed. Spa was lovely and large. Spacious driveway with extra access roads. Large heater family pool. Laundry area to wash & dry your clothes.

Needed own shampoo & conditioner. No dish rack for dishes. Maybe an extra Fan for Lounge area it was very humid.

We were playing bowls at Rotorua East Bowling Club so the location of Devonwood Motel was excellent. Also extremely handy to the shops and restaurants. The units connected which was extremely convenient.

Staff are great - friendly, welcoming & accommodating. We stay there often, facilities are convenient, pool is great for our kids.Great value for money

Location was great

No air conditioning. It was so hard to sleep in 28degree weather with no air con. Also the pool is heated in the summer… bed is not that comfortable and pillows are very light ( bring your own)

The staff were friendly and helpful, the place was easy to find, very clean, they give you clean linen or towels if needed. It is what they say it is. We enjoyed our stay.Thank you

Only one issue the room got hot, and theres not much ventilation. So we put the fan on and went out. When we got back the room had cooled abit.

Did not order breakfast. We found the location very good. Was not far to travel to where we wanted to go.

Nothing much.

The location was perfect for us, located close to shops and the attractions we wanted to see.The staff were lovely. Having a guest laundry was very useful too.

The pool was lovely, the room was clean! The lady at reception was soooo lovely and welcoming and made my first impression super positive.

Neat , tidy , clean unit

Closed SPA room was hot, humid, smelly. Needs more ventilation

Room and bathroom were fine, parking area available. The pool is in the parking area.

This motel exceeding our expectations. Excellent value for money, everything you needed kitchen wise, ideal location if you don't mind a 25minute walk to the centre, close to public transport.

Nothing not to like.

Clean and comfortable

Needs aircon as was really hot at night.Walls are thin and was quite noisy

Was just right for our one night stay - central location

Bathroom is a little dated & room could have more decoration to make it feel a bit more homely - it’s a big room & feels a bit empty

Well located and friendly, helpful staff.

Glass door lets in light making it hard to sleep. Had to put towels over the door to try and block it out.

Friendly staff, very clean, great value for money.

The gardens could have had a bit more attention and a larger pot in the room would have been good but for the price we paid I don’t know if we can’t expect more than what we got. Everything else exceeded my expectations.

The staff was very helpful from the beginning when I made the booking for my 2 sons

Nothing, my boys were both happy with everything!!

Location

Cleaning the spa in the room was dirty and old was not working properly.. need more cleaning

Access to the pool, sauna and facilities

A bit outdated but good value for money

It is cheap

Limited parking onsite - free parking on the road. There was a heater in the room but the cord was so short it did not reach up to any of the plug points. The 2 single bed room has the head of the beds against the wall which has the next door room's toilet right next to the wall and you can hear everything!
