Great location near our activities in Rotorua. Everything was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub in the room.

Location good size room and clean, and private parking.

Bathroom needed some renovation. Jacuzzi shower combo was very unsafe especially for seniors to use. Too deep, slippery, and no grab bar handles. They should get rid of it and install a nice shower. Overall bathroom was disappointing.

Friendly staff, comfortable stay, quiet and clean

I liked the location of the property and the Manager, Morgan was wonderful. He was attentive and kind. The room had plenty of towels and basic kitchen ware. The room was very spacious for a 4 day stay.

On the first day, I didn't have anyone in to top up my supplies as I thought they were busy enough, however, on the second day I needed a few things and asked if I could have a change of linen and shower gel. I thought by the time I returned mid afternoon that these items would have been completed and the bed was made, no shower gel and they only left one at a time or I would not have asked. They only left 1 packet of coffee and so on. Anyway, I had to ask again and started to feel like a beggar and mentioned this to the cleaners and I had only walked a few steps away from them and they started making fun of me making things worse. They arrived at my front door and so I addressed the fact that I could hear them poking fun at me and making things worse and got an apology. Paying guests should not have to beg for a shower gel or feel it's ok to mock someone having to ask for the 3rd time. That certainly made things uncomfortable after that. They were a big group of locals cleaning each day and I asked that in the event they make fun of a guest, at least do it out of hearing range. I had travelled to Rotorua for a birthday treat but felt given I was alone that one begging request was not unreasonable by any means. This put a dampener on my stay there but overall, I'd stay there again.

The room was very spacious and comfortable. Staff (Morgen) was great. Location was convenient to the sites we wanted to see. We could also walk into town but the motel is in a quiet part of town.

We didn't care for the large spa tub, as we also had to use that space to shower so it was pretty cold with no curtain or enclosure.

Morgen and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Especially Maggie! She assured us that our stay would not be disturbed by guests from a large tour bus (who were not an issue at all). Our room was spacious and clean! The location was great! We were in walking distance to Kuirau Park, Government Gardens, Sulphur Point and Rotorua Village. And short driving distance to many surrounding lakes and trails.

The location was truly exceptional — a natural thermal tub right on the property made it unforgettable.

Nothing to complain about, except the mattress—it wasn’t very comfortable.

Bed was very comfortable and liked having reading lights on both sides of the bed. We didn't use the in-room spa because we went to the Polynesian Spa earlier that day. The in-room spa is a nice touch, but I would've preferred a regular shower. The shower head is in the spa tub. I did love the toiletries - very nice quality, especially the lotion.

Kitchen area is tight.

The room was fine and being on Fenton st, made it easy to head straight down into town.

The room has a spa bath combination shower which requires you to step down into the spa bath to have a shower.This may be all well and good for the young and fit but for elderly customers it`s a bit of an effort to manage a shower.My wife also is not a tall person so it was quite difficult for her.......small children would have to be assisted.

It was perfect for our one night stay in Rotorua. We were able to book a room with four separate beds.We arrived 30 minutes before check-in time and our room was already ready. We were greeted by Morgen who gave us a nice rundown of the room and the amenities.The beds were clean and comfortable. The kitchenette was really practical, since it provided the pots and pans necessary to cook up a quick meal. And we got plenty of visits from Colonel Boris, the friendly family cat, who would just come and chill outside the patio door.

Great place to stay in Rotorua! Main attractions are accessible within minutes by car. The room was great and spa bath was very fun.

Spacious and comfortable. Good location with easy access to the city centre by car or on foot. Good heating and the spa bath was a bonus.

We stayed in the wheelchair friendly room. The facilities in the room were great. The shower was huge, as was the spa bath/pool. There was plenty of room. The bed was comfortable.

There was nothing I didn't like. Just don't leave food on the bench as ants will appear from nowhere. However, the thoughtful owner did leave some fly spray in the cupboard, and we knew after the first time to wash our dishes immediately.
