Pure Motel

It was really great staying there. We didn't stay long, but Joe was awesome. We got there late at night and he was still there, checking us in and showing us to our room. Plus the room was pretty big and it was a great stay.

The hot tub had some dirt coming out when it turned on, maybe because it hadn't been on for a while or something. But otherwise, no issues.

Overall, great value for money. Our room had everything we needed, including a big bathroom, outdoor area, and a spacious, stylish layout. Parking was not a problem. It was a 15-minute stroll to the supermarkets, shopping mall, and gardens. This was my second stay, and I’m sure it won’t be the last.

We were disappointed that the room we got was very different from the room that was pictured in their promotion. The room was cramp, noisy and generally unpleasant, so people should be aware that what is shown in the promotions is not what you will probably get.

The three bedroom house had lots of room, with separate dining, kitchen and lounge areas. Beds were very comfortable.

The kitchen and bathrooms were quite dated and ready for refurbishment, but this was reflected in the cost, which we thought was very good value.

Really fresh and clean. Bed was extemely comfortable. Host very friendly.Access to Netflix was a bonus.

Would have liked more pods of milk in fridge when we arrived. There was only one pod

It was a bit noisy with the closing of doors. The parking wasn’t easy for a truck.

I liked how quiet and clean my room was. My bed was the most comfortable bed I've slept on when I'm away from home. The pillows were amazing too.

I didn't like how there were no way of having my windows opened without people seeing into my room. You had to have the aircon on. Fresh air is always best.

The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the staff was very welcoming. Had a very nice stay.

We liked the setup of the rooms. The rooms were clean and the location of the motel was close to all the tourist spots in rotorua.

Joe who ran the place was friendly and helpful but very busy.

For what I paid the family room was poor value and not worth it.

Host was very accomodating and welcoming. Responded quickly to any of our requests. Very affordable compared to other services in the area. Although may seem humble facilities were clean and bed was very comfortable.

It had everything we needed. I wasn’t expecting much for what we paid but it was surprisingly good. We had a spa room. And our room had everything we needed. It had a stove top, microwave & mini fridge, a spa bath & separate shower. The room was cleaned daily & the owners were really great and accommodating.

The property is not on the ground floor and we have to bring all our luggages to upstairs which was quite a mission.

Convenient location with parking provided. The owner was friendly and pleasant, and I had no problem communicating through booking.com and in person.The room we stayed in was around the corner and then up the stairs. Place was clean and tidy, some flies and whatnot at the door but the owner was installing some sprays when I left the next morning. Room was nice and tidy and there was an amazing amount of storage. Bed was comfy. AC was great. Bathroom had a good amount of space too and great benchtop space to put all your things. Shower seemed to have great space too. I didnt use the shower/bath so can't say how it was. I only stayed for one night but it was great. Would stay again.

Maybe the flies and bugs at the door but the owner was installing some spray to tend to that issue when I was leaving. Not too much of an issue either as it was just when you were entering/leaving the building.
