Kuirau Park Motor Lodge- Thermal Mineral pool

We were told that hot tub is included. Upon check in we were asked to pay extra for hot water in the empty tub. Both windows and Blinds were broken and dangling, bugs in the kitchen. Holes in the wall on kitchen counter was covered with printer paper.

Relaxed atmosphere. Close to town. The staff member, Vishu, was helpful and nice to us

Rooms were very 'tired' and in desperate need of refurbishment. I had been there approx 10 years ago and it seems nothing has changed. The room was hot and without air conditioning. We only had 2 fans, one we had to clean as it was full of dust. Water for shower was cold, extra bedding if it got cold were duvet inners, without covers. The fridge was leaking a little and we were not left with milk. Dining room chair was broken and a few knobs for kitchen cupboards were missing

Centrally located. Its a good stay if you are out all day and just need a space to sleep and rest - Our 3yr old loved the pool and was out there every morning and every night. Staff was accommodating

Very run down Linen was dirty Bed was as old as the hills with bed springs sticking in your back very uncomfortable sleep if maintenance was kept up it could be a nice place to stay

The amount of cockroaches was insane and the bathroom smelt of bleach

Good location , 200m from town centre .A similar distance to Kuiau Park , which has numerous thermal pools and ponds .Good , friendly owner and staff who were all very helpful and obliging.

The property and rooms are dated , but don’t be deceived, they are clean and tidy , well kept .

The location was perfect for my trip. It’s an easy to walk to many cafes, restaurants and the lake front.

The unit I stayed in badly needs some *serious* maintenance, especially the bathroom.

Beds were uncomfortable, and the "outdoor area" was just a set of plastic chairs and table sitting on the lawn

Really run down looked like it has been used for emergency housing. Needs an upgrade for the price good location. Water took 10 mins to warm upStaff are member was polite.

Not much! The motel was only a short walk from the town centre, and close to amenities.

The motel didn't feel terribly safe. The property was old and poorly maintained. The windows were single-glazed and did nothing to keep out the noise - and there was significant traffic noise. The blind in our room was broken and couldn't be raised or lowered. There were hardly any electrical sockets in the room - we had to unplug the microwave to get somewhere to charge our phones. The carpets were thin and hard - more like carpet found in an office building. The kitchen was poorly stocked. There are plenty of motels and hotels in Rotorua, and I've stayed in much better on previous trips.

Only the location was handy to everything

The location was great, the staff friendly & helpful. The outside hot tub was good fun too! So easy with a kitchenette. Pillows are comfortable. Indoor thermal pools onsite but we didnt get a chance to use them.

Probably cant be changed but the water pressure in shower was poor but then the water pressure in hot tub was higher... The mattress is getting on a bit - you get up and the springs chase you out of bed!! Shame there isnt a seating area apart from dining set inside & out.

Out of date, but stay able. Water pressure in shower was very weak. Noisy at night with thin windows.

Don’t be fooled by first impressions, the property is dated and old fashioned , but, clean . The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is approx 200 m from the town and approximately the same distance to Kuirau park which has a number of thermal pools .

That hotel is good if you will stay there on winter time. But not on summer its to hot no aircon the electric fan is not helping to ease durring summer. The room is alright not dirty but not clean too. They should update the photo on the advertise so the guest will not expext the same as on the pjoto. But the staff is good very helpfull. Just need some improvement on the property.
